odoh is getting released but LSU is restricted, which is chicken shite. you dont want the kid on your team, don't restrict his schools of choice.

More than likely I would suspect that this is payback to JJ trying to pull Odoh before the new UNT coach was ever hired or ever got to talk to the kid.

So, they first fill his scholarship. Then restrict his release?
If Odoh's coaches choose the scorched earth method, this won't last -- if it's even true.
There is nothing good that could come of this for the new UNT coaching staff. Burning bridges is never good, especially for a player that's leaving anyway.

We need to put UNT on the schedule and destroy them. Bitch move by the mean green

with all of this that has gone on lately and the bad pub involved, not a smart thing for a new coaching staff to do, even though LSU probably did tamper
and UNT beat writer Brett Vito...

trying to figure out who he reminds me of..

If no fuss is made over this, then that would tell me LSU didn't want him.

that dude screams 'new avatar' but quin's sexiness prevails yet again
eta- sucks about the stipulation but we've all seen how those things can turn out.

How positive are we that what this dude is tweeting is right? Just seems ridiculous that they would release yet restrict LSU. I mean is this Dude UNTs equivalent to glen guilbeau because if that's the case the chance that this Guy even has a clue about what he is saying could be edging around 27%
Never heard of the guy, so as asked before, how solid is his info?

I think he's literally the only person that covers them, so he's probably pretty accurate.

common practice, just coming to general public attention lately with some extreme cases

yea thats what i was thinking. he's covered this story pretty well.

Methinks this is what's known as hardball negotiations.
As in, home-and-home series and other considerations.
I bet they release the kid to come here. We could take him and redshirt him in a worst-case, if I'm not mistaken, but depending on what they want out of this we could work this out.

Vito with more on Odoh
quote:
The interesting twist is that UNT won't release Odoh to LSU, where he could follow Johnny Jones and Shawn Forrest, the two guys who recruited him to UNT.

So he's john madden trapped in an aging, balding Frankie muniz body. Captain obvious.
