If I was flying into LAX and was going to visit Adoree, there aren't many hotels to stay at where you'd be safe to walk out of the place other than in Westwood or in Beverly Hills. Due to traffic, the latter is a half hour or more further away from the airport. If one stays by LAX, they get to hear planes take off all night. Downtown is dead unless there's something at Staples Center (otherwise the hotels there are to service those at the court houses and the financial centers). Staying near Adoree's school in Gardena isn't safe at all. Unless Cam likes to play at card clubs, that's pretty much all there is in Gardena.
Whoever at UCLA talks about thousands of hotels either doesn't stay at hotels in LA or isn't in a place of reality.

By God they're right! That plane circumstance and the hotel thing are 100% the reason why they'll come to LSU. Not location for their family, not any other contact prior to that, not positions of need, relationship to current LSU players. None of that matters, only the plane flight and hotel stay.

I can't recall UCLA ever being very meaningful in football.. hth do they think they are even in the same league as LSU is baffling.
