Offered as h back.
He wanted to play defense and it looks like he is going to bama to play just that.
Very weird that aranda just didn't want him on d

Unfortunately, they can take 28 this year, so they have 6 more spots left.
This is correct, I also think they will process a couple more as well as as K Reichard to maybe take a grey or blue shirt. I can see them taking as many as 9 more recruits. I think they will take the following people

1. RB - Trey Sanders
2. OL - Evan Neal
3. DL - Siaka Ika
4. DL - Ishmael Sopsher
5. LB - Nakobe Dean
6. LB - Henry To'oto'o
7. CB - Jeffery Carter
8. CB - Noa Pola Gates/Marcus Banks
9. S - Jordan Battle

Saban keeps his foot in the door at U high. This one will backfire on us.

LSU has more access than anyone when it comes to knowing about a recruit from U-High. If they are not willing to pull the trigger on a commitable offer on someone from there I am going to trust that there is a reason that we don’t know about that the coaching staff is deciding is a deal breaker.

Guy on my radio says he never camped at LSU even though LSU wanted him at camp.

Heard the same. Didn’t camp so LSU moved on. I guess they identified him as a lost cause, but not based on talent just on a guy who had no interest.

Well obviously Bama had enough film on the kid to steal him from a&m so he must be good enough, another one that will come back to bite us

Not every Louisiana kid that Bama has taken has come back to bite us.

I just don’t think this kid will be a great LB.

At Bama I see him being a solid special teamer and a way to stay connected at UHigh.

Well my point isn't that he'll be an AA or anything...I don't know. I trust Aranda but Bama also knows a little bit about football as well. But my point is this helps Bama down the road with future recruits. I think LSU should take any SEC caliber recruit from U High....which he clearly is.

You are a UHigh fan, any truth to the rumor that UHigh is getting out of the recruiting of local talent with McKernan graduating?

It's not like we didn't offer, we offered for offense and he said thanks but no thanks.

Offer him as an aflete or say we'll give you a shot at LB then move him accordingly.

And Aranda has produced good college LBs with much less talent.

We never had any intention of playing him at LB so why lie? You think that's better and potentially pissing him off and ruining our relationship with Uhigh because we piss him off by lying to him?

Fact is Aranda got who he really wanted at LB and didn't see him as better.
