No insider, but I'd say he commits elsewhere. At least for now. Florida St?
Just dont think he's super high on our list at the moment. Maybe we end regretting that, we'll see

Here's some links

Scouting Report:

quote:

Thickly built defensive lineman with enough frame space to continue adding mass throughout high school career. Shows encouraging quickness at the snap. Active in pursuit. Usually plays with good leverage. Active hands and shows ability to make plays vs. the run while occupied by blocker. Shows impressive gap-plugging and stacking strength, especially for an underclassman. Get-off burst and pad level enable frequent gap-knifing ability. Could possibly fit in multiple defensive fronts and provide position flexibility and personnel value. Strong bull-rusher but must expand pass-rushing repertoire. Raw technically but possesses great tools as a high-major defensive line prospect who could become a multi-year Power 5 starter and NFL Draft prospect.

Athletic Background:

quote:

2019: As a sophomore, helped Edna Karr to its fourth consecutive Louisiana 4A state championship.
2018: Started as a freshman at DT for an undefeated Edna Karr team that won the Louisiana 4A state championship.

Agreed, I like LSU.

I feel like Tygee Hill isn’t getting quite the love because he is rated a little bit lower, but I think he is undervalued.

This cat is a bit undersized but quicker than a lot of other DTs. I like his combination of size/speed/quickness, and I believe he would fit in great with our rotation of interior D-Lineman. And maybe more than anything, I love that he comes from a winning high school program, so he’s been seeped in that culture in which he expects to win.

Count me in the group hoping he chooses LSU!!

This is O's specialty so let's see what happens. No way once you take his pledge you cut ties later on.

If LSU wants him, they have him.

If LSU takes him, they have to keep him.

LSU can't cut ties with Karr.

“Good luck”?

Between this and the decommitment graphic put out by a player recently, I’d say recruiting has jumped the shark

Exactly right, Captain. Processing a Karr kid could potentially lead to the death knell for LSU in NOLA for years to come, and that would be 100% unacceptable and devastatingly detrimental to the program long-term.
