QB Rickie Collins 5-17 51 yards smothered by U High
RB Kaleb Jackson 8 carries 52 yards left game ankle injury against Southern Lab

Don't put a whole lot of stock in these two games, two public schools against private school teams

What does this mean?

Liberty and Woodlawn are select schools now. Anyone in EBR can attend school there

Do Kaleb Jackson and Rickie Collins and Jordan Matthews live in Liberty and Woodlawn's original zones?

I like Rickie as a prospect, but that is a horrific line for a 4 star QB.

But when Arch Manning has a line like that, he is a 2star!!!

His O line sucks, and he does not have much help on the outside, pressure is constantly in his face.

His oline sucked last year and it will again this year...he is constantly having to make plays on his own.

Game was moved and played at East Iberville HS last night. UHigh shut them out. 25-0.

The advocate article on game said Woodlawns D held UHigh to 132 total yards. But UHigh D smothered the LSU commit QB - he was 5 of 17 for 51 yards. Held Woodlawn to 86 total yards.

UHighs defense must be pretty legit this year.

I think they should probably both be ranked where Rickie is.

Be prepared for Jackson’s number to drop significantly this year. His o line is simply not good. They are small and slow. The qb is pretty good but he’s only got one receiver to throw to and he’s going to be running for his life. Teams will spy Kaleb with 2 or 3 players without fear of the pass.

He had 52 yards last night, but 50 of them came on one run where he shrugged off 4 or 5 defenders. Other than that, he was taking handoffs from shotgun and the defenders damn near could intercept the handoff.

The coaching change at Liberty as well as moving to 5a will have huge impact on his numbers but this kid is legit. Has added 20 to 25 lbs of muscle in the offseason. Looks like a different person this year.

This. I was at the game last night. Woodlawn finished with about 80 yards of total offense and 40 yards of it came on two long runs with about five minutes left in the game. Collins was running for his life every time WL called a pass play.

WM beat them 27-0 last year, he had no shot! But you could see he was a dude. Half of the uninformed around couldn’t believe he was highly recruited. Just goes to show you can’t always look at the numbers.

What if I told you that was also the stat line for the highest ranked quarterback recruit of all time against the only decent competition he played, in the playoffs?

I said before, good kid good get but will never start for LSU, Nuss & Howard are the immediate future plus we’ll be in on Top 24 QBs next class. CBK is trying to lock down the state and RC is a 4* La QB that will definitely add depth to the room.

QB isn't like other positions where, if you're a stud, you're pretty much gonna put up numbers no matter what. You could have Aaron Rodgers back there, but if his WRs are blanketed and his OL can't block for shite, there's just nothing he can do. I saw some clips from this game and Rickie's OL was getting absolutely fricking HUMILIATED. I'm talking, like, multiple free-runners within 1.5s type stuff. I wouldn't put too much stock into this.

I was surprised at how big Kaleb Jackson looks in the video Scarborough took of the game.

That OL needs work though.

Kaleb has put on a ton of muscle this off season. Didn’t even look like the same person. Still showed breakaway burst when he had somewhere to run. Oline was beyond bad though.
