I recently finished reading Meat Market and I think the offer to Tua is nothing more than Coach Doh's believe that you offer the best prospects.

It really doesn't hurt to make the offer in the long run with the way that Hurts has played and with the way these kids transfer schools now a days.

O probably wants two QBs in this class and he may feel one of the two commits are not solid.

He also said he was focusing on early enrollees first, so he took a shot.

Did the part about not giving Brennan a heads up and giving conflicting statements about the type of offense he wants to run, creating some doubt for Brennan where, and for that matter, whether, he fits in LSU's plans fit into this whole crazy like a fox routine?

I still don't understand why he wants to go sit for three years. Character or not, If I were as talented, I would want a chance to play more than a year or two. There is no way he beats out Hurts. I guess kids don't mind riding the pine to win a Nat'l Title.

I think Narcisse is the one not coming.

He's trading paradise for T-town, can you say culture shock?

I would not leave the island

It was a boneheaded move. I hope that is not a sign of things to come with Coach O.

I haven't watched any film on TUA, but I doubt he feels this way.
I'm still under the impression that Hurts isn't very good.
The kid has poise for days (which is very valuable), but he's not super talented.

He's not conflicted anymore. He's going to a spread.. Imo I think alleva and the board played into this decision. They went on record saying they want a modern offensive philosophy from the HC before O was considered. O said he was a pro style guy but changes his tune in Openinf PC. Cmon guys this is obvious to me. Either way I'm glad he made the call and if lane comes to BR it's very possible Brennan goes elsewhere. This was why O offered tua. And looking at juco qb.

Coker, Sims, McCarron..
None are in the NFL.
They still looked good at Bama.
Hurts may be better than those 3, but not by much.

Thought McCarron was on the Bengals roster (although I no longer watch NFL).

What do you mean "C'mon man?" Ed was the one who reversed polarity and then about recruiting spoke of the I-10 corridor. He's the one sending mixed signals.

CEO only reversed LSU's offensive direction AFTER he got the permanent position. It appears that he wasn't going to make decisions about the direction of the program that he wasn't yet in a position to make.

Hurts brings a dimension none of those 3 have and Hurts can run the ball with the best of them.

He will only get better throwing the ball an will play the next 3 years at BAMA.

He had this. Then he got ahead of himself. Almost feels the Nicky was pulling his strings.

McCarron is the backup to Andy Dalton in Cincinnati. He started last year after Dalton got hurt. Maybe know what you're talking about before posting.
