Country Day? Big whoop. They are in shootouts every game. Anyway maybe he was like Tyrann before he went to Tennessee camp.

I'm watching the 3A State Championship against ND. This kid is good. He's not a QB but he's a baller.

I was at the dome last night supporting Notre Dame.

The kid that gets the publicity on that team is Peter Leblanc, a UL commit. I thought Leblanc looked pretty good as a wide receiver, but in all other scenario's he was soft to be honest. I saw him make very little effort on tackles and didn't even try to block. That being said when the ball was in the air last night he mostly got it.

I was impressed with #3 Amos. He was basically New Iberia's offense. I wonder why he isn't getting more publicity. The first play of the game he took it to the house on a 60 or 70 yard sweep type play.

When he ran the ball he ran with good leverage, good strength and vision. He looked very tough to bring down. pretty impressive.

He returns kicks too, and he had a good return or two.

He looked best on Defense to me. He played either safety or corner, but he was literally the only guy that would stick his head in the running backs tummy and form tackle. In the 4th quarter #41 for Notre dame (200+ lbs) was running down hill at him. He engaged the blocker, came off of his block and stuck his head right in front of the runner. That would've been a house call if he wouldn't have made the stop. I wonder how he would do at safety on the next level. Other than him and one of the defensive tackles New Iberia's defense was horrific in my opinion...

Amos does have some stamina. They played him both sides the whole game and was by far the most impactful player for New Iberia.

What I really liked about him, and mostly both of the teams were there workman like attitudes. Very little jawing, no excessive celebrations and lack of discipline. Just a get it done mentality.

He might not have NCAA division 1 speed though. I could be wrong, but he didn't show it on the field.

The fastest kid of the field last night was either peter fontenot or the bourgeouis kid for Notre Dame.

Amos was impressive last night. Broke probably 15 trackless last night. Looks pretty lean and has real extremely long arms. I can see him playing DB.

I watched that game last night as well. Amos certainly isn't a Div. I quarterback prospect, but he did appear to be a pretty good athlete, though. Felt kind of sorry for him in that offense, which was, "snap the ball to Amos and good luck, make something happen." Maybe he can have a place somewhere, but I don't see him as a must get. Catholic NI also had a scrappy linebacker who was all over the place, number 19, but he looked a little small for next level play. I'm no recruiting expert, but from my view, I didn't see any LSU level talent on the field in that game.

did you read any of these post that i said.. the kid is playing quarterback for them.. he is a true corner in college.. you don’t get many 6’1 corners who are fast and can play defense.. he is lsu material.. don’t go off one game.. i remember last year as a sophomore he was picking off ND like it was nothing.. he is only a junior..go watch the rest of the high school games.. you are right you will be the same person cheering for him to get that int in a playoff game for lsu in few years now go find something to watch..
