Haven’t seen anything about it but one would think we’d be after the likes of Fentrell Cypress, JQ Hardaway at CB, Jake Renfro at C, and Justin Flowe at LB given the needs at those positions and how good all those guys are.

24/7 poster was his high school coach. It’s Zavion Thomas allegedly. I figured posters in here would be all over the rumor.

Rara Thomas? He’s a good player. I know Georgia is after him already hadn’t seen anything on us. I think I’d prefer Dominic Lovett from Mizzou over him but they’re both really good players. Zavion Thomas is the other MSU WR in the portal but he hasn’t done much as a receiver only 2 receptions for 4 yards this year, did return a punt for TD vs UGA and nearly broke a couple of big returns vs LSU.

Truthfully I don’t want back up players. I want possible or immediate starters at any one position. Wide receiver we not need help at, at all. Incoming freshmen are good and what we have now are damn good. This is one place we don’t need help. I truly believe RB is not a need with two freshmen coming in. Our problem is up front between the tackles. That is we’re we need the help on offense. I personally hope JD5 leaves. And maybe transfer Qb to push Nuss. The area of help we need also is TE. So C,G, and TE. And convince at least one TE to leave.

Zavion Thomas entered the portal today. The "portal" on most services are not live and can take up to 24 hours for it to show up on recruiting sites

I'm with you on not wanting back up players but a player like zavion thomas is filling a need as a returner while also being young.
Just like wingo he has 4 years. Don't have anyone like him on the roster.

We beat fsu with zavion. We still need a new STC but the muffing will be over with at least.

Backups aren’t a problem if they are young players. I don’t think we should be taking juniors/grad transfers just to play a few snaps.
