To me it’s obvious we need help in the center of the O and D line right now. My order of need from the portal and this is based off of what we have so far in the portal and pledges for next year. I say 2 linebackers because of our lack of quality backup and 2 freshmen pledges. That’s my take. Not necessarily in that order but I really don’t know where to put CB help. I’m so used to DBU from hi ranking recruits all the time.

Not an article which is why I said I wasn’t gong to start a thread. Basically one guy started a thread about Jamie Howard having back channel discussions with other schools regarding Howard because they aren’t happy about Howard waiting behind Jayden/Nuss for another year.
If it was just one guy I would blow it off, but there are multiple “proven insiders” in the thread corroborating the story.

If he goes, he goes. QBs are no longer going to be recruited out of high school anyway for the most part. It’s about to be a portal world for the QB position.

That's what I was afraid of. Howard has always been considered the next 'Big thing" at QB. He is a more mobile Nuss with an arm equal to/stronger than Nuss. I would rather lose either of the other 2 than Howard. Hope Kelly can stop this from happening!

Stewart would absolutely be a nice pickup as a Jack linebacker.
2021 highlights
Here's my question: apparently he was a defensive end last year and this year he played a "bandit," which apparently is a hybrid DE/LB position. And amid the switch he went from 12.5 sacks to 3.5.
This "bandit" position sounds like a Jack LB.
From watching a little film of them this year I can't really tell the difference between the "bandit" and a defensive end.
Was his sack production down because teams schemed against him? Was there something in Coastal Carolina's defensive scheme that screwed him up?
Either way I'd be interested in at least looking at him, because here's a guy with two years of eligibility and he looks like somebody who could help offset Ojulari going to the league.

Well I think he may know Daniels is coming back and now Nuss has pushed himself to the forefront with that performance against UGA. It's a real conundrum. I hope they all stay through spring and at least see how it shakes out. I do understand that none of the 3 want to sit next year. Howard is the logical one to have to wait another year but from all we've heard, is also the most talented of the group. Should be interesting to say the least!

What elite cfb team would walker howard be guaranteed to start on in 2023?
The answer is none. He has as good, or better chance, to start at LSU than any other elite program.
Any team looking for a plug in QB is bringing in a portal player, not a true freshman.
So, he could go to an SMU or lower tier P5 if he’s looking for guarantees
