crazy part is only 3 of their top 10 are from Texas.

Howrver I will say that I am most surprised by USC. They must be promising these kids some crazy hollywood/after college, type of things. Last year and this year early on they are killing it in high school recruiting. I'm personally not confident in large recruiting classes staying longer than 2 years at the school.

Blows my mind they're able to convince elite athletes to come play in front of male cheerleaders

None of them have actually signed anything. Let’s pump the brakes on recruiting rankings until December.

A&M will go 8-5 this year and will have to decide to pay for immediate transfers or pay these HS seniors.

I don’t see this class sticking

They finished one spot ahead of us in avg player ranking on a year we fired our staff
Signing 35 HS kids is just plain dumb

Difference is our GM, Chad Bowden, and the front office They have been the biggest factor in SC's recruiting success. Bowden is on a very, very short list of top GMs in CFB.

It shouldn't be surprising though...

1) Elko is a good coach + it's a staff of good recruiters
2) They're riding high off last year's performance
3) They're throwing around a whole bunch of money

But also... let's not forget 2022 and how that worked out for them.

Very different philosophy than a lot of other programs with how many HS kids they're taking so will be interesting to see how that works out.

We'll happy to poach him over in the future when ours eventually leaves and they fire Riley.

In this day and age anything can and will happen.

But he and our AD would be doing the firing. They are above CLR in the pecking order.
