That Stevie Douglas photo looks like:
It's really a bad photo of him. He looks a lot better in other shots.

Suggest you consider QB Paul Turner of West Monroe. Tremendous athlete who will put up huge numbers next year after leading his team to a 5-A title as a junior. Great burst and instinct as a runner. May not be SEC material but will definitely get a lot of looks, either as a back on in the defensive backfield, where he also has some experience.

I saw Rod Davis and came away very impressed, as did several scouts in attendance. In fact, an alumn from Auburn was at the game and called Auburn from the game to let them know he was a must have... I let him know there was no point and that I was pretty sure LSU already had dibs on him seeing as how they already had a in in Many with Jacobs, so go battle Bama in their own state and leave the La boys alone

Lynx, you do a great job but after seeing rod Davis in person several times I must say he is an awesome athelete. He has great speed and agility for his size. Also the way he goes up and gets the ball in traffic is elite in my opinion.

Of these recruits, which one(s) could come in and have and immediate "MAJOR" impact for our program?

Great Post, keep up the excellent work.

Does anyone have film on Rod Davis? He has great measurables, but I couldn't find any film on him.

D. Williams--the fact that he will have to go the JUCO or prep route will effect his ranking. Even if he is elite at the high school level, if he is unable to step in and play the next year I will take that into account when placing him in the rankings. I'll do some searches and look him up.

There needs to be some tweaking to the Top 20 for sure, potentially expanding it into a top 25 or maybe top 30 with the talent in-state this year.

I can talk to one of the coaches at Many to see if they have some film on Rod Davis. This summer one of my friends who happens to be a coach at Many told me that Mcarthy was really high on Rod and that he told him if he got his grades straight he would have an schollie waiting on him. Dude is a beast won the 100 and 200 at state as a frosh. He is a lock btw if he is offered.

Thanks for the help; looking forward to finding out if there is some film.

Would have 8000 yards rushing and avg. 67 yds a carry against the competition Stevie Douglas plays against. I'm not even exaggerating. It's a joke that Douglas is even mentioned as a prospect.

Couple of others:

S Andrew Jackson, 6'1" 195 Neville
DL Demarcus Hodge, 6'1" 280 Neville

ETA: LB Jonathon Tyson, 6'1" 240 West Monroe.

Northside has 2 DT's that are D1 material

Lynx, thanks for all of your detailed posts. There is some very good info on the top 20 lists.

Just of curiosity, has anyone seen Jared Rogers play before? Could he be a top 25-30 player in the state?
