I think the first Louisiana D-1 commitment in lacrosse happened in the past couple of years.

Glad to see Holly put on a show based on that stat line.

Btw, knowing absolutely nothing besides the listed ACT score, just be aware that Tulane gave a surprisingly high amount of merit aid to Louisiana kids with high test scores (33 ACT/ 1420 SAT). It was just for LA students; the recipients from out of state had to hit higher levels.

Now this was 20 years ago but I suspect this is ongoing.

Not sure I’ve ever seen the father-son combo on the RB. Brings a tear to my eye…

Congrats on On3, man.

Realizing the Tulane thing happened 20 years ago made me feel old as hell.

ETA: also making feel old was seeing Jai Eugene Jr. as a ‘23 recruit

And he looked for contact at the end going in for the score. Gotta love that kinda dog in a running back.

He hasn't updated us I wonder if he suffered broken ankles from Holly's stat line?

Looked like a close game so good for them. I want to hear his first hand account on how he tried to tackle Holly doe

No no just sadness, anyways Trey is like a cat with his balance and whenever he gets going straight he's like a toddler running away with something they're not supposed to have. They probably ran the ball about 40 or 50 times with him I'd think and a good chunk of his yards came off of three plays. He reminds me of Clyde in the way that you could be right next to him and he still makes you miss, as in I stepped up where the tackle and guard blocked down and he had about a yard of space in between me and the tackle and he cut back in and I barely even touched him, also very much able to stop and start based on what I saw. All in all, 9.5/10 only downside I would say is due to Unions offense he didn't catch any footballs and if you can get him to move laterally, shuffling or stepping not running as his o-line isnt the best and theres really only ever gap open, then you've essentially won that play. I could probably make this sound better but I'm eating chocolate pancakes.

I remember my sophomore year on our football team, I played Jamaar and Terrace Marshall in the same year! Nightmare fuel. Pretty cool to play people who you know your gonna like. Although Chase was committed to Florida when we played them lol

Shea, what is your take on how the class ends?

He's listed at 5-7 175 to 180. He looked 195ish last night to me. He has a thic lower half. Very CEH ish.... What did you think...

Agreed, that's the comparison I thought of. Either that or I'd say Armoni Goodwin with more wiggle to him maybe? I've heard some say Goodwin can't really go left and right and I'd say Holly may be a little better in that aspect.

Nothing to be ashamed of and thanks for the follow up. Good luck to you and your team the rest of the year young man. In the future you will be able to reflect on this game and say you played against a LSU tiger.

And to Dad it sounds like you raising a fine you man.

Go Vikings... I was a starting CB on Airline's only State Championship. My helmet and Letter Jacket are in the trophy case next to the trophy. What is your son's number?

jb21lsu:
He did get a 33 on his ACT first time though, so I am definitely proud of him for that.

I have been rather absent from here recently or else you would likely know. But yes I will be playing against him tonight and will thus be able to tell you what it is like to play against one of our commits.

Well you made me laugh. I had a friend that played against Trindon Holliday in high school. He even managed to tackle him once.
