No idea which site you're using, but he's rated the 35th overall player in the portal according to 247. And that's a few spots higher than the C from VaTech everyone was drooling over yesterday.

On3 shows him as unrated by 247 in their industry rankings. I don’t know if that is timing or because 247 lists him as an OT instead of IOL like On3 and that is messing with their algorithm. In any case, this is a prime example of how inexact these transfer ratings really are.

So he’s playing the wrong position and could be developed at his natural position. Cool frick fans that don’t understand basic X’s and O’s.

On3 has their transfer portal rankings and he’s ranked 39th at interior offensive line. On3 has become the standard in the industry and has surpassed 247 just like 247 had become the standard and surpassed Rivals just like Rivals had surpassed……. It rotates every 7-10 years like clockwork.

When you sort by position on On3 it doesn't sort them by rating, at least on the phone. Of the 50 or so guys that I looked thru for IOL, Murphey was rated around 5th at 89.87. Moore from VA Tech was a 92 like the Arky guy that went to Ole Miss everyone wanted.

Apparently offers from LSU holds a great deal of weight even in the portal. Sorted by IOL rankings last night to today has changed a bunch for both. Moore is now the 2nd best IOL, when last night he was 5th. Murphy is now ranked 13th best IOL, when last night he was 39th on On3.

The VA Tech guy is very good. Not so sure about the USC guy but I suppose he could be good depth if he’s willing to come here as a 6th man on the OL

On3 has him rated as the 17th IOL with the 247 ranking included.
