Thoughts on Mike Williams LB Dunham.

I'm really pleased we've started out great with ILB commits. Noticed a few weeks back that Mike Williams got an offer from us.
Huge guy that most people seemed excited about as an athlete. Was wondering if anyone knew what kind of shot we have with him, and maybe some info on how you think he'll adjust to playing LB.

Don't know much about him, but if he plays for Dunham then he is facing some shite competition

He played fb at the middle school where I'm the Asst Principal. He's going to Bama, bad family situation here in BR, he wants to get away.

Take it FWIW, but I spoke with him last year & he likes Auburn. I know he's got to get his grades up to par (which he should). He reminds me of Davon Godchaux

He can live in an off campus apartment if family situation that bad, but he doesn't need to go to Bama for that. lol shite, Orgeron will let him live in his house to keep him from going to Bama. lol

Hell I'll even let him come stay with me to save him from that horrible place. I can write a book followed by a hit movie, we'll all be rich, just don't go to the red team.

He's a good football player with a strong arm. Don't know what position he will play in college. But he is the qb for Dunham and is very good at it.

The kid is far from an SEC caliber linebacker

Yea because you know. He has an offer from Saban as well. He can't decipher talent either. Knights 70 you must be an Episcopal person?

Considering the fact that Michael Williams never played football for G.M.S., how are we to expect you know his family situation?

You are wrong. Does not like Alabama and is in a foster type situation now with great family. He is not high on lsu either, leaning smaller school now but he is still young. He is a very good kid and I wish him the best.

I "Coached Him" = more so witnessed his talent... very talented guy who has been physically put together since probably the 7th/8th grade, but he was the 2nd best athlete at the school...

Right, some of us older fans recall maybe LSU's first Mike Williams, All American defensive back in the 70s.

And? LSU offered Russel Gage, Nick Brosette, Tim Williams, and Garrett Brumfield all who played in Dunham's district.
