Bridgewater HS Highlight

This is over Alonzo Moore, he was an All Big Ten WR at Nebraska

I hope Bridge gets some PT this fall
The kid is far from an SEC caliber linebacker

He was a damn good receiver at Episcopal for his Junior year of high school

Here he is in the Quarterfinals, with Alonzo Moore (All-Big Ten WR) in man coverage on him. Episcopal was also down 7 with maybe 50 seconds to go.

Bridgewater WR Highlight

I know its just one play but he only played 7 games he was a monster. Great hands by the way, just very raw.

Also number 2 (DE) is LSU's own MJ Patterson
I feel like our players are all 90+ OVR on NCAA (if only....)

LSU 100-0
I will say that there are times when LSU is on offense when it is a bet excessive to stand the whole time but, on defense it's kind of just how it is. So yes every third down in a big game, I would expect the standard to be people standing.

For gramps out there I know standing doesn't directly affect the game but, there was a time when LSU was genuinely scary to play at. Opposing players truly had an element of fear. Part of that is because "the crowd is standing and yelling the whole damn time" Players from opposing teams have been quoted about how it could be 2nd and 1 and the crowd is on top of you like its a 3rd and 9. At least thats how the stadium used to be like. Idk what happened maybe its just a generational gap right now.
quote:

You are a moron. If I am trying to actually watch the game I don't need your retarded arse standing up waving your arms and yelling in front of me so I can't see. News flash you don't effect the outcome of the game no matter how much you think you do. So grow up and at like a civilized mature adult, not some ADD kid on meth.

dude, stay at home, your the exact type of person that just sucks as a fan. If you told me to sit down on a 3rd down because "you can't see", id flip you the bird and tell you to go home. Why should I cater to your wants because you don't want to cheer for the home team? And then you'd probably tell a security rent-a-cop about it and I'm sure even the lame rent-a-cop would tell you the same thing, in more polite terms. Jeeze your a miserable old person. The beauty of Tiger Stadium is that the seats behind you are slightly more elevated than your seats, so stand the frick up and cheer with the other 90,000 or go home and complain some more you miserable old man.
Mahaffey has had 4 All-Americans in five years at a 2A school(which is ridiculous), Tim Williams, Garrett Broomfield, Dylan Moses, Nic Brosette. Not to mention the number of key players that are on the team that were recruited by Mahaffey who were "All Baton Rouge" as BREC players. When Mahaffey and U-high lost to Episcopal for the first time in a gazillion years, he turned a corner and is turning U-high into a powerhouse. It's rubbed some of the older U-high folks the wrong way but, the "new money" people at U-high love him. Just look who the starting QB is for U-high...

I'll give you a hint his last name is on the brand new gym his daddy bought u-high....

As deep as our ST issues have been. We looked pretty good in coverage, and the punting game was there. The onside kick is disappointing but, it really is a crap shoot. THE KICKOFFS!!! I still don't understand why we continue to give them the ball at the 35 yard line!!!! I get trying to pin a guy deep with the new kickoff rules but, holy smokes if I see another kickoff out of bounds, my TV might take a half dranken miller light to the screen.
I think Etling will handle this trip to Auburn just fine... he seems like the type that in between the lines "its all the same". Yes, we might lose the advantage of the snap count but, Etling will have yet another week under his belt with the first recievers to carve up Auburn.
"Night and day" is a great description of the difference between Harris and Etling last night (que a racist reply). The offense was so noticeably better with Etling, Etling himself didn't have crazy numbers but, compared to Harris he was much better. But the Box Score doesn't do Etling justice. He makes everything run smoother and "safer". Harris has been asked many times "you don't have to win this game, just don't lose it..." and he's not capable of that (Wisconsin L). After last night, I know it was a small sample size but, Harris has been groomed by Cameron for 3 years now! He is much much more prepared than Etling. I know small sample size but, imagine if Etling was taking first team reps all summer after a full year as starting SEC QB. The kid just seems to grasp what our coaches want to do, and he seems pretty damn good at executing it. He is our "game manager" that we need to get to that SEC title game, and then make our playoff run.

White will be the nickel if there is a nickel but in our true base, it'll probably be White and KTII at the CBs, with Donte waiting to go in....moving white to nickel if need be

2011 Defense vs 2016 Defense

I wanted to compare each starter and key reserves (mainly DBs)

DLs-
NT- Brockers / Valentine
DE- Benie Logan/ Davon Godcheaux
DE- Montgomery/ Lewis Neal
First DL after- Anthony Johnson/ Greg Gilmore
2nd.. - Ego/ R. Lawerence

LBs-
Buck- Mingo / Key
Mike- Minter/ Beckwith
Rover- Hatcher/ Duke Riley
F - Barrow/ Thompson-or-Divinity

DBs-
CB1 - Tyrann / Tre White
CB2 - Mo Clai / Kevin Toliver
SS - Reid / Adams
FS -Taylor / Jefferson
Nickel- Brooks / Donte
Dime - Simon / Dwayne Thomas

I know they are different defenses, I'm imagining how'd Aranda would line the 2011 team up... but who gets the nod at each position between the two teams??
I could see Pocic making Ryan Kelly money...

I could also see him going to an established team who values versatility, possibly the patriots?
