We're definitely not done if Owens wants on board......That guy is a beast.

I agree. I have no problem adding as many good LBs as want to play for LSU. We've been missing this position for a while.

He had us at the top of his list earlier in the year.....The only reason he chose Auburn IMO is because his uncle played there......I don't expect a change but also wouldn't be shocked.

I don't EXPECT him to change to us....But you have to like the fact that he wants to open it up a little bit (even though he says he's still solid) and give us a visit......The way he talked about us early in the process means theres a chance IMO.

If I were going to put money on it right now though I'd say he sticks with Auburn.

Since Maclin and Bates project to either LB or DE, bringing in Owens would allow them to be DE. If he doesn't come, one or both play LB. It's all good.

bama made a push for Owens right before his announcement of choosing Auburn. He pushed back his date another 2 weeks, and then he committed to Auburn. He's as solid of a commit as they get, almost as solid as Dyer and Reed are.

Was it the same uncle that told him he didn't want him to commit? I'd be psyched to have this kid.

Hogeb

Theres a rumor that Bates is headed to ULL. Not sure of its credibility however.
