Had over 100 tackles two seasons at Purdue. I know that may be helped by weak front 7, but he can tackle!

Safeties are a huge need and they're one of the hardest positions to find in the portal at a high level... Downs was an exception last year.

Why would you assume that? Because Ohio and Indiana are close? Have you looked at Notre Dames roster?

I disagree
The teams with best rosters do not have a need to back the brinks truck up. A team like LSU, who needs a plug and play safety like we need oxygen, will be likely to spend more

He could fill that star role. Hybrid S/LB since he's not afraid to hit. Tbh, I think that's Perkins spot when he comes back tho. Everything I'm reading tonight says teams aren't sure how good he can move with the knee injury and the draft combine will be here too soon for him to be able to showcase his skills. I think he comes back to prove he's a 1st rd pick. Still, this kid is a take if we can get him imo.
