From passing game coordinator to a HC position? Directly?
Thats the the way our fan base works. Few games of success and we already losing them to someone else. Or we pay to keep them which eans they must be miracle worker, pitch shutoutss oraverage 700 yards per game. Even if he team is undefeated they are considered failures if they dont reach those goals.

Love Brady. Very important to our success. Once we have this offense in place... there are a bunch of people who can coach and call plays for a spread RPO.

Man i have to reply to this.
SE did not have the same offense not his fault. Joe Brady is the 2nd reason for this offense, Coach O is the first reason for this offense. This is what he wanted when Kiffin backed out at the last minute and he had no choice but to hire Canada.
No we did not expect these results when Canada was hired. There is nothing in his past that comes close to resembling this offense.

the lack of passing in big games under OC SE? Coach Joe Brady is the main reason this offense is what it is. These are the results that we expected when Matt Canada was the OC.

Who is better? Holstein or Manning? I've seen Holstein on the 7on7 circuit and he's pretty good. The cynic in me says that Arch benefits from the last name, but it sounds like he's doing pretty well as a freshman.

point where i agree:
*Joe Brady is the 2nd reason for this offense, Coach O is the first reason for this offense.
where i disagree:
- SE did not have the same offense not his fault.
- This is what he wanted when Kiffin backed out at the last minute and he had no choice but to hire Canada. <--- you make it sound as though Coach Matt Canada was not qualified and that's far from the truth.
- No we did not expect these results when Canada was hired. There is nothing in his past that comes close to resembling this offense. <--- NO, no, no, nooooo way. Cliffs here - i'm a yinzer by blood and grew up a Pitt fan. Fell in love with LSU and Louisiana in general on my first trip to help rebuild after Katrina. Now back to the point of the story. Please look at the 2016 Pitt Panthers football team. LINK OC Matt Canada put up over 40 points a game against national champion Clemson and # 7 Penn state in victories that year. Please keep in mind that Pitt team had 1 player drafted in the NFL and 5 undrafted free agents. We’re talking about mostly 3* players on the squad and Coach Canada had success against 2 top 10 teams.

I watched Nussmier the other night, he has a lot of potential.

I agree on Nussmier. He could be a sleeper. Dude can play, and has next-level football knowledge already.

Ok, this is the first time I've heard the term 'yinzer'.
Good stuff. Da Stillers game made him drink a jug of vanilla extract because his old lady ran out of Iron...

I've seen Manning a few weeks ago, just after he turned 14. He runs like Archie but passes like Peyton. They may change the star system when he becomes a senior. He is a very accurate passer with a quick release and is a very fast runner. Game changer wherever he ends up.

.HAS to have Arch Manning thinking
As long as Archie is alive there's no way a Manning will ever play QB at LSU. And then, maybe he plays at LSU, only a slight maybe. Archie hates LSU, always has and always will.

Archie always said he never pushed his boys to a school. I wonder how cooper feels. Would he push arch to his alma Mater or let him decide? Also arch did say LSU was his favorite team.

I think it would be cool to see a Manning come to LSU. Despite his family ties to OM, he is after all a Louisiana kid. If he keeps developing and is a top recruit, why WOULDN'T we?
Archie would obviously support his grandson. I could see him becoming a regular at LSU games.

I don’t care how much hate is in your heart, you should always do what’s best for your kid, which is clearly not OM.

Neither Cooper nor Archie will ever let that kid visit LSU, let alone play for LSU. No chance in hell. They hate everything Louisiana/LSU outside of their small circle of uptown folks (maybe a few north shore folks). They look down on the Louisiana folks that attend Ole Miss.

Cooper Mannings boy and Archie's grandson ain't stepping foot on LSU campus unless it's on an opposing teams bus.
Posted on 11/13/19 at 9:39 pm to DeafVallyBatnR
I hope not. LSU wasn’t good enough when Eli or Peyton we’re coming through. The mannings regularly take the easier road. See Eli to NYG instead of SD.
