Unlimited transfers without sitting out a year is an abomination. At the very most, they should allow just 1 without sitting out.

I don't believe your reading comprehension skills are working. You don't push back the semester, you move up the games so they're completed prior to the start of most schools spring semesters.

Absolutely. I used to know almost every player on the roster and look forward to them contributing after a year or two in the system Now I know almost nobody and don't care anymore because they will likely be gone chasing a dollar. It's taken the fun out of being a fan

I think the portal should somehow be end of January. Allow coaches who might take other jobs to finish the season and have some time to work on portal and HS recruiting post-season before it opens. I know there is academic concerns here, but who are we kidding, these kids aren't here to play school.
NSD, portal, everything happens 2 weeks after final game. Preserve the season.

Just calling out your hyperbole.
I'm a pretty rabid fan, and I could name anywhere near 90% of 135+ players, including the 40+ walk-ons who never saw the field.
For me, it was probably 45-50 max then, definitely fewer now. For me, that is as much because having a handy roster on my phone has killed my memory skills in this area, as in many others, nowadays.wadays.
