Can we quit all this hypocritical bullshite? We all celebrated when LSU moms keep their boys home, and deride guys like Landon Collins who snub their moms wishes.
Just say "I want whatever outcome gets these dudes at LSU" and quit making it an issue of morality.

Don’t assume that I’m miserable just because you are. I like the class that we signed and I lost no sleep over the ones we didn’t. I appreciated what E Smith said. Maybe because I have kids, maybe because I’ve invested years coaching kids, or maybe because I think that the recruiting process is a fricking joke.

I thought all the attention was bullshite.
Commentators making it sound like Emmitt was so gracious and above the fray by letting his son choose Stanford over Florida and not pressuring him.
It’s fricking Stanford. I love LSU as much as anyone, but if my son had a full scholarship offer to Stanford, then he’s there. Forget LSU.
This was no big sacrifice for Emmitt.

WTF? That's not even remotely close to what happened. His kid made a decision, put on a Stanford hat, and the reporters immediately started asking about UF. Emmitt shut that BS down and his words & actions were completely supportive of his son's decision. Why do you think he put the UF hat on?

Same for the Ivy League. If you have talent, the league will find you. If you have a chance to go to Stanford or an Ivy League, you go to Stanford or the Ivy League.

Another reason that I’m impressed with ES...as a parent. I’m not surprised that his son had the grades to receive an offer from Stanford.
