I’m just seeing this but doesn’t really put Orgeron recruiting in a good light when they decided to pull the Demon Clowney offer and told the coaches but not the kid. The St Francis coaches kept saying they was no contact with the kid. If this is all true, pretty bad look by O and guys

Haven’t heard the story on Clowney so this is all new to me, as far as why we lost him.

The end of last year’s recruiting cycle was a total disaster. Pulling offers hoping to land big fish, not getting them, and having commits flip. Agreed, not a good look.

I mean Wasn’t the big fish we were after BJ Ojulari?

That seems to be working out.

No ojulari was already in the boat before signing day and Webb was already a silent. We processed guys like Jalen Lee major burns and Alec Bryant only for it to bite us in the arse in the end. Burch McKinley Jackson were some of the targets we went in on and missed unfortunately. Not to mention the two Wr’s flipping on us. Just hope the staff can close strongly come signing day

It’s a bad look because O missed on his bigger fish. Had he landed them nobody would have remembered the processed guys names.

Yeah but we didn’t process a DE because of a WR

BJ and Webb made him redundant

Speaking of webb, it seems like he was more of a 3-4 player.

Hopefully players like him, josh white, and sampah play next year.

He does.

Not exactly a hybrid guy, but who knows. He has a big frame if he can beef up.

If a kid ditches you too bad. If you ditch a kid you are an a-hole. That's just how it works.

There was speculation for months that’s LSU had cooled big time on clowney after his senior year and that they were going in a different direction. Several insiders had reported this, I find it hard to believe Clowney and his coaches weren’t made aware sooner than NSD but the recruiting board was...

There is not one coach that hasn't strung a kid along only to leave him out of class at signing day
It goes both ways too
All this flipping on signing day and making a spectacle of it from the kids and their handlers, I have no sympathy for them.
