This is Bo Davis' top recruit in 3 years at UT? I know he's considered a top tier coach, but is he known as a recruiter?
Got to have money to throw with any recruiting pitch these days. Especially when so many other top teams are out looking to gobble up the same recruits.

Hell of a developer but no on the recruiting. He's sufficient at it but Texas didn't land any top DTs while he was there. I think part of it was the fact that they weren't putting DTs in the NFL but he was turning that around.

Are you saying UT didn't have money or wasn't willing to pay?

Texas coaches told him to get in the portal the day before their Spring game. He was being passed up by other players. We don’t want him!

It really doesn't have anything to do with what Trxas and Oklahoma are doing. If they are not accepting SEC transfers for immediate eligibility this season, that's simply their choice, but they're not obligated to follow the SEC rule until they're actually a member of the conference.

The SEC is enforcing this because they will be members next season. They are choosing to do this lol. That would be giving up a competitive advantage.

I suppose it's possible for the SEC schools to reciprocate the favor by not taking transfers from those two schools and granting them immediate eligibility, but that would simply be a gentleman's agreement.

lol if gentlemen's agreements existed in CFB, they would cap the NIL numbers. Coaches and Admin cannot stand the amount money that is spent on players. ADs especially.

Actually, the Athletic ran an article asking kids anonymously if they took the highest NIL deal offered at the UA game and only a few said they took the highest. Most kids went to the school that they wanted to because they were making money anyway.

Then maybe they should also reconsider the ridiculous amounts they are being paid too.

At the very least, there should be limits on buyouts and contract lengths. 10 year, fully guaranteed deals are absurd.

I’m telling you what I know. Why would I talk trash about another player. Plus my Godson plays on the D-Line right next to him at UT. You can miss me with the trash talk BS.
