I agree with you. If the kid is dumb enough to pass on all of the offers he has to go play at Wisconsin and freeze his arse off, then peace out. His recruitment on this board has been one of the strangest things I’ve seen and that’s saying something.

No idea why people slam someone so much who might want to do something different potentially. Wisconsin has a solid program and has for a long time. They've had some very very good linebackers come out of there with 8 LB being drafted the last 6 drafts. It's not like he's throwing away his life if he went to Wisconsin.
Why some people would be upset to see him go is he is seemingly a top in-state prospect and we've got 2 elite LB prospects in the state which neither seem to be trending out way (for now)...so that would suck to not get either.

The kid can do what he wants, but it would be an incredibly foolish decision. If he were an elite OT, it would make more sense. If you’re from the south and have SEC offers, in what world would you go to Wisconsin. Go play and compete against the best. There’s zero chance the Watt brothers go there if they are from another state.

Based on what, your feelings or other feelings getting hurt?
Wisconsin has a solid football program, they've sent droves of linebackers to the NFL, if he likes the culture up there then he likes it. If you dont, that's of no consequence. This isnt your decision, it's his.

He’s not going to Wisc with the other offers he has on the table
Plus the LB coach is openly trying to move upward. Won’t be there long

Based on his anti Ed Orgeron stance he’s obviously a smart kid so hopefully LSU can get him
He clearly saw signs of trouble so he’s bright and has good instincts for sure

I don’t give two shits where this kid goes. LSU will be fine with or without him. I stand by my point that it would be a foolish decision. Choosing Wisconsin over multiple SEC offers is like choosing hamburger steak over filet.

Tacketts daddy is his HS coach. His dad is dead set that Tackett see's as many schools as he can and he isn't pressured into going to lsu.
It has nothing to do with hating lsu. It's a father wanting his son to take advantage of an experience that very few ever get.

I would think a smart guy like urself would understand a top hundred kid would be looking at the NFL. But a guess ur not smart at all.

I have no idea who that guy is nor do I care.
Lol carry on.

He's very good, but I anticipate that this board will say the opposite, given that it seems relatively unlikely he signs with LSU.

Yeah, it’s too bad that TJ watt guy never amounted to anything in the nfl.
If there are two position groups Wisconsin can develop its OL and LB. They aren’t going to win a NC anytime soon but going to Wisconsin would not be a barrier to making it to the NFL one bit.
Some of the condescension is a little over the top.

Kid hits like a freight train, has real speed, knows football and will be a damn good linebacker for whoever gets him. Hopefully it's LSU.

Read something today where he is all but telling LSU they need to beg him, and that LSU needs to act like they want him like Whisky apparently does. I don’t know what went on with the previous regime but he sounds butthurt towards LSU, really don’t think we have a chance.

Lack of interest isn’t equivalent to “butthurt”

So all that stuff said about him going north, if he goes to OSU (Fong CB'd him this morning) does that go away? OSU obviously develops a ton of guys who get paid in the league and he would get developed

Who is the last guy from LA that signed with tOSU?

Sounds like the visit yesterday may have sealed it
