Supposedly they do not care if they play together or not. But one can assume it can't hurt our chances with Dean to have the QB of the team that just won him a state title on our team.

Ideally if you get Jones, Jay Ward pushes back to Feb to see what type of room there is.

Perhaps, but it seems odd that Ward would decommit from Kentucky just to be backburnered.

Ward isn’t a Sospher level of talent. Raydar is higher on the board. LSU has 6 spots left. If Dean, Raydar and Ika want in you obviously take all 3.

You keep a spot open for Lee and likely 2 spots open for either the Sosphers or any combo of the Mississippi boys.

That’s the risk Jay is running, either get in or possibly get left out.

Stingley is returning punts

If he wasn't, I would be very upset.

If Hampton goes to the bigs, maybe Ward slides in that spot.

Also have Kelvin Joseph who has been playing CB, but is much better suited at S long term

EVERY TIME I see this, I think cornerback. I go to his page and he's a DT QB.

This could be true but we won’t know if Hampton is leaving until next summer. Ward will be signed by then.

Why do they feel confident about the DL staying?

Is he delaying his commit, or is he being put on hold?

I agree with most you say , but no one can be sure who will be returning punts ,kickoffs air even playing special teams before one is even committed to team. This is all speculation. Just saying!

I say this because this year I don’t feel we had best available person returning punts . Giles was horrible. Nothing against kid but made lots of bad decisions and had to hold your breath every time he made a fair catch.

Since we are stating the obvious, guess you can take it a step farther and say until they are signed or enrolled

I know this question was directed at me but this is the deepest Dline draft class I’ve ever seen.

On top of that- Fehoko injury is gonna slightly hurt his stock and I believe the draft panel will tell Rashard that he’s not ready

I have not . But also heard how great Giles would be as a receiver and return man. Either actually worked out. Question does Giles have any time left.

I mean part of recruiting him was telling him he'd get first crack at returning punts... So, technically you're right, he may not do it, but he will however get the first attempt back there next season.
