No this is the way it is now whether people like it or not. I know Kelly doesn't really care to play this game but he's going to lose out. Not saying be like A&M and pay your entire recruiting class, but if you're going for some impact players, you will have to pay for it and if he's not willing to at least try, he's going to lose out more often than not. Ole Miss and Kiffen knows their shortcomings but they've tasted some success and they know as long as they're in the top 12 every year, they're playing for a championship. Now they're starting to get the players, they're going to be a thorn in our side for years to come. Because Kiffen will pitch a tent in Louisiana as long as he knows he can poach a few guys LSU wants the most.

Why do we have the 2nd least transfers is the SEC. Why are we not losing a bunch of mid rd draft picks? Because we are using our money for roster retention
We also have double the 4star recruits out of HS than Ole Miss - so our money is going there also
