Sopsher is now a state champ. Time to commit.

If O can make this happen, would it be the single biggest flip since he's been HC? (I know it's not technically a flip since Sopsher hasn't actually committed yet, but he's essentially a Bama guy).

ETA: meant to post on LSU Recruiting. RA'd to move.

I know the word on the street (or message boards) is that he's a bama favorite, but then why does his crystal ball still say LSU by a landslide? I guess it does feel a lot like Patrick Surtain, but I question how much of a flip this would really be.

Did he finally decide to show consistent effort in that title game?

Sonny with 247 did an article after the game quoting Sopsher as saying that whatever school he signs with has to sign his brother to a full scholarship too.

There is no way Alabama will do this, so this is bullshite. They are having an epic recruiting class and are turning down players better than Sopsher. No way they are giving his brother a scholarship.

I'm not against LSU doing it, but I'm not a fan of it.

Not sure how much more he can spell it out that he’s going to BAMA without actually committing to BAMA.

This is why I asked how likely he was to sign with LSU. From what little I do follow this stuff, I've only seen that he's a heavy lean to Bama.

They should Both go to JC. There is no F'N way LSU or any school waste a scholarship on his brother. Maybe he & his brother go to Kansas.

There's a better chance I have sex with Kate Beckinsale than Sopsher coming to LSU.

No clue why he is waiting this long to make it official to Bama. But he isn’t fooling anyone. He’s ALLL BAMA.

If you follow recruiting, especially for an extended period of time, I think most folks have learned to watch their actions and not pay attention to their words in the stories they give to the recruiting sites. The quotes that recruits give these writers probably have about the same value as coaching quotes in the media.

Kid has been to BAMA quite a few times and have shunned LSU a couple times as well. Also, the BAMA insiders, for some reason, have more knowledge on Louisiana recruits than the LSU guys that cover LSU. I can only assume that the kids tell out of state reporters and people that leak information more because they think it won’t get back to Louisiana readers. I don’t know. Quite the novelty.

This is constantly regurgitated. He is listed as a strong LSU lean, but if you look at the dates, all those suggested destinations are quite old. The latest projections (fall 2018) have him going to Alabama in a landslide.
