247 showing a lean towards USCe, think I've read Michigan a few places. Are we even remotely in the running? Haven't really followed him at all and no one is talking about it over the Ricks melt.

We have fallen way back to the point where I don’t know if we even get a hat on the table.

Visiting in January. We’ll see where we stand after that.

I’m really not trying to be a dick but damn does anything positive come out of your mouth? You just fill every thread with negative bullshite that doesn’t hold any weight.

Pay him no mind. He's negative about everything LSU unless it involves talking about Orgeron. Then he is the world's biggest LSU fan.

Not unless it’s about Orgeron. Then it’s all roses.

Wasn't he one of the posters that used to accuse nega-Os of being anti LSU?

How the "turn tables"

Yes he was. If you didn’t think Orgeron was highly qualified and clearly the best guy for the job then you hated LSU

Any questioning of Orgeron was met with deflection, attacks and blaming of Aranda or other assistants.

When the assistants were hired by Orgeron and sucked it was the fault of the AD.

He’s quite the joke.

“We”, as if you’re on the staff. To answer the initial posters question, LSU has his final visit in January. He reportedly has family affiliation with the LSU track team, is enamored with Cain (his favorite person in the entire process, nationally), and Kelly’s emphasis on player accountability and academics is a huge plus. He also likely won’t be swayed much by finances as he comes from an upper middle class background. His recruitment is one of the most authentic, nationally, in this class. His cancelled visit was not by design and he’s held major interest despite not visiting. He’s cancelled his Georgia visit recently, so take that as a positive as well. I expect Michigan, though it’s a battle between them, LSU, and South Carolina (though I don’t anticipate them truly landing him). Shea and another insider have Harbor IN their final class, which was also quite conservative. Take all that insight for what you will, but he’s strongly considering LSU.

He’s tried to visit multiple times but things keep getting in the way outside of his/LSUs control. He’s visited UGA, Michigan, Maryland and South Carolina.

Him waiting to announce after his lsu visit is perceived to be a good thing. We get his last visit and we’ve been in it the whole time. Michigan and South Carolina seem to be the biggest threats. I like our NIL game against those two and it looks like Ricks’ money will soon be available.

I don’t expect to land him but there seems to be legit interest.

Sounds like we’ll have a lot of freed up NIL cash to throw at him now.

Couple of other guys basically nailed it but they are discounting Maryland whom he just visited. Never sleep on Under Armour money. LSUs staff seems confident with the visit still in hand. We have the track advantage. Michigan is gonna be there and academics are the big pull there. South Carolina seems to have faded but I never understood them being there. So I'd say relationships is likely their pull. Maryland is home and has Under Armour backing. Who knows where he ends up. Also have to take into account that the pool is much smaller now and all the big boys will shrink their boards and have all the time in the world to focus on a kid like Harbor who is a special talent. Could get nuts

Upvote for you brother, solid stuff there. Where has it been indicated that SC has faded? Good if so. Maryland is close to home, he’s visited twice this month, but from what I’ve read, it’s more just for fun. He comes from a distinguished upbringing, not sure if Marylands NIL will truly sway him away from his passion for track, which LSU and to a lesser extent even a South Carolina can offer nor the next level development of an LSU or Michigan.

Academics are big for him and while LSU isn’t Michigan in that regard, Kelly has a major emphasis on academics, which Harbor has commented on as well. For what he truly seeks in a combination of track, football, and a program that takes academics seriously, LSU blows everyone out the water. Kelly also developed LSU’s strength and conditioning program and it’s one of the best in America, which they’ve emphasized to him as well in order to stay track ready. It’ll be a heavyweight battle between folk from Ann Arbor and Baton Rouge come February, at least that’s what I anticipate.
