"When I decommitted, it was crazy," said Seals-Jones, who committed to the Longhorns in February. "I got death threats on Twitter. A couple cars in my neighborhood we didn't know would drive by house real slow. I live in the country, so the cars that do drive by, you know who's in them.

That is pretty sad that people actually do those kind of things to kids like this, it's pretty embarrassing.

But I did like this:

quote:

"They have a great football team

Uhh... Has he not watched the last two years and see what is coming this year?

quote:

and a great basketball squad.

Uhh.... Not saying our team is worth a damn, but if Texas is "great" then what does that make Kentucky?

quote:

Dickerson and Seals-Jones talk as much as twice a week, as Dickerson offers all kinds of advice to help Seals-Jones' recruiting process go as smoothly as possible.

What happened to his shear hatred of the Longhorns? Help us out Dickerson

Most people including myself seem to think he will still end up at Texas. But at least LSU gets a visit, and that at least gives a chance to make the sell. I assume he never made it to University of Oregon despite being in the state, so I would say they are gone...still Texas, LSU, and A&M I think in most peoples' mind RIGHT NOW.

I still think RSJ ends up at either LSU or TAMU.

that's actually surprising. I wouldn't expect texas fans to do that - didnt think that had many die hard creep level fans. He seems to be handling it better than brazil would lol. probably mostly more dumbass kids on the internet...

How is LSU looking for Seals-Jones? Is Texas still considered the leader?

From what I've heard, it seems like it at this point. But with an LSU visit still impending, I don't completely feel confident we still land him.

This is going to be real interesting. He's been a Texas fan all his life so I could definitely see him there, but I could definitely see him at LSU too. I don't think he'll end up at TAMU at all. Once he sees how bad the aggies will get raped this season, he'll realize that the so called "Strong
Pass Offense" that Kevin Sumlin brings to the table doesn't work in the SEC. It's either Texas or LSU for this kid.

This is one that will probably come down to the last minute. I just hope that we end up with a nice surprise instead of a disappointment this time.

Why are you so worried about LSU recruiting?
