Shower me with downvotes but Im not trolling. He isnt even seriously considering LSU. Mom doesnt want him there. They don’t want to burn bridges so they're giving LSU lip service. Im telling my LSU friends and family not to get their hopes up, I trust them when they tell me the same. He's got high bust potential anyway and I think hes ranked too high.

You know what, I kind of feel the same. His highlights stick out at you, but most of his highlights are against the worst teams Acadiana played last year (3-5A has been really bad and they didn’t even win district).He has the measurables and he can most likely develop into a great college DT, but he camped at LSU last summer and even though he had the measurables he left without an offer? Why even hesitate if he’s there being evaluated? That always stuck with me. Then I watch him whenever I watched acadiana play because I’m a fan, and he’s a solid DT but I didn’t see a can’t miss 5 star. I think he got the two INT’s (1 for a pick six) and he blew up. I watched Acadiana vs LCA and Melvin Hills looked like he was on a different level. Maybe LCA had a better OLine but Dominick didn’t have nearly the impact Melvin Hills had. The game might be on YouTube or LCA’s website. I’d advise checking it out. I’d love to have him and I hope he tears it up for my Wreckin Rams but I didn’t see a can’t miss 5 star DT that I’d melt over losing. He is someone who can develop into a solid to great college DT though.

I honestly don’t even think it’s a money thing. I think he camped at LSU and didn’t get an offer, and he took it personally. You won’t hear him say it if he chooses one of the Texas schools, and I’m not privy to any inside info, but seeing how this is shaking out it could be the case.

Why doesn't mom want him at lsu?

Preston Guy had a crazy stat on Louisiana 5 stars who go to LSU vs out of state. I don’t remember it exactly, but I think it was only 40 something percent get drafted when they go out of state for college, but over 70 percent are drafted when they go to LSU.

So the biggest bust potential according to historical statistics is if he goes out of state.

If I were on the LSU recruiting staff, I’d be pushing these stats to McKinley.
