His 10.35 in the LHSAA state championship 100M puts him in the top 3-4 in the NCAA FB fastest players. FSU has two guys that can beat him (down in the 10.1 range) but outside of that there is not much else even close.

He still could increase his speed once he gets in college. Trindon did if I remember correctly.

why do some want a 5'9 wr? Let him play DB imo

I think a lot of people are envisioning him as a Skyler Green/Trindon Holiday type weapon. We've got 6'2" guys that have the skills to play CB - speed is Brazil's most dangerous asset and it would be better used on offense.

he is actively recruiting for LSU whenever he runs into recruits from across the country

He seems to be very sociable. He hung out with Frank Herron at the Memphis combine they both attended. He was at LSU's June camp Hanging out with with Herron again and with the campers.

There are pictures of him with current LSU players:

other LSU commits:

and other LSU recruits:

If some don't recognize, these are TM7, Diarse & Ricky Jefferson. Brazil is very visible and up front for LSU.

He is a valuable asset right now and for the future.

Not necessarily. Claiborne was possibly our fastest player last year and look where he is.

So I guess we should tell Steve Smith of the Carolina Panthers to stay at DB... He will never be a great Wide Receiver in the NFL... Just to let you know majority of LSU best Receivers were 6'0 and under

Agree. We need the 6'2" or taller WR for a mismatch and red zone offense, after that the height is irrelevant and it becomes more about getting open and catching the ball. Most of our current WR roster is 6 ft or less, and Beckham and Landry may be our two best guys there right now.

I do not care if Brazil is 5'9" if he can do those things. It sounds like our staff really likes him at DB, we will see!

Dexter McCluster part deaux

A team like ours, play action, power running, deep ball can really hurt a defense with underneath routes to a player like Brazil. It would be a brutal change of pace, IMO trying to tackle Hilliard, Ware etc and then try to chase down JB on the outside.

Thought the same thing. Don't think he has the wiggle, but he has the speed, and its how I'd use him.

The problem with brazil on offense is it doesnt play a style where a scat back, screen guy could flourish....will be more valualy used at cb when he learns some technique
