If he can play corner, thats where I want him. I really think they'll end up using him like Trindon Holliday, with Special teams focus, and split some RB and WR plays in there.

The problem with brazil on offense is it doesnt play a style where a scat back, screen guy could flourish....will be more valualy used at cb when he learns some technique
Someone gets it. Why would we put him at rb to get 5 carries a game as a scat back, something Les doesn't particularly care for. Or to put him at wr to catch a screen or 2 per game.
Let him play in the return game, coverage team, nickel ala TM, where he'd be able to contribute every possession. Coop offered him at cb as a sophmore so that's enough to sell me on him as a DB

Let's all try not to bicker too much about where Brazil plays. I'm sure the coaches will use him in a way that's best for him and best for the team. I'm just glad that, whichever side of the ball he's making plays on, he'll be making them for LSU.
Personally, I think his talents are better suited to a CB/return man role, the main reason being that he'll be involved in a lot more plays that way. But I'm not too bothered either way.

Jeryl is not 5'9". He is atleast 5'10" and 185lbs.
He can take one step and dunk a basketball.
He will play QB,RB, & CB this year in HS.

Agree, he's a couple inches taller than TM in that pic.

Definitely not short. He looks jacked already, shouldn't be hard for him at all to gain a few more pounds of muscle.

he's a great athelete we are blessed to have him
he can play anywhere. CB,RB, WR and you know he will return kicks.
Why isn't he a five star?

No lateral speed/hips. Its what killed him at the SPARQ. Thats why he probably won't be a corner at LSU. Has straight-line speed that will get him touches, though.

Ron Brooks was the same way, just straight line speed. He did fairly well in his role, enough to be drafted in the 3rd round.

Agree. His shuttle was terrible for a guy as fast and small as he is. DL/OL and QBs had better shuttles yesterday. If he doesn't get better with his agility then he's not going to play CB. Word is that the staff already is thinking RB with him. Pure speed is overrated at CB. Quickness and hips are greatly more important.
If Brazil is 5'9 or 5'10(I've seen both) then Diarse is at least 6'1-6'2 by that picture. I thought Diarse was 6'2 but it seems everyone lists him at 6'0. Neville guys, help me out. How tall is Diarse really?

You all are acting like he's a finished product. He has time to correct that with good coaching. Dwayne Thomas doesn't have straight line speed nor did he have a good shuttle but he locked down everyone he faced at camps, etc.

i agree they keep him on offense. especially if they get robinson, and willis n jefferson. He may be a suprise at rb. great speed and good strength for his size

Sounds like another John Williams or Drayton Calhoun for LSU...
If you don't have natural hips coming into LSU, you aren't playing CB here.
