Ellis was one of three Tulane football players suspended Monday for separate, undisclosed violations of team policy. Ellis was arrested in June 1997 on a charge of possession of cocaine with intent to distribute, according to police records. The district attorney reduced the charge to possession of cocaine and Ellis successfully completed a pretrial diversion program, which kept his case from going to trial.

Is he posting this on Texags? I'm curious to see how the ags would respond to his comments. I can understand some eating them up, but these comments from a father would give me some pause as an a&m fan.

you would think....obviously, the kid was hurt badly when LSU didn't offer and the dad's natural instinct is to protect his kid. how he, seemingly, is going about it is shabby none the less. when you suffer dissapointment the best course of action is to move on, use the dissapointment as motivation and make the best of whatever comes next. just sayn'.

Who cares what their sons football recruiting rank is? If your kid is good the coaches will find him. If my son got an offer to play for A&M and accepted I would extremely happy for him and very proud.
In this situation I believe it's obvious that the parent feels A&M is inferior to LSU and is upset that LSU doesn't want his son. The proof is in pudding. When A&M loses to LSU most years he won't be able to say shite.

Noel Ellis Sr. is a whiny bitch. Probably pissed because back when he prepped at Karr, LSU didn't want him.
