And, if they do, are there any wants/good players left for WW to go after that weren't previously in play because of numbers?

It does, rumor has it they are searching for another big.

Basketball attrition always frees up scholarships. You can sign 13 new players every year.

That's false. You can have 13 players on scholarship each year.

Most of the guys coming in this class are listed as PF I think we could use a good perimeter shooter....

Javonte Smart is a good shooter. Him, waters, and Edwards would give us some solid guys from long distance

Honestly, it would be nice to get a solid wing. Days has a nice outside shot, but he'll probably get exposed guarding smaller wings out to the line.

No, it's not false. If you run all your players off, you can sign 13 new ones every year. (at least until the APR catches up with you)

5star SG from IMG Anfernee Simons has an offer from us. Wonder if he's still interested?

I think another wing would be a great addition. I think Day will fit that role well, but besides him, idk who else fills that spot

If we return all remaining underclassmen on the team, we'll be fine at guard next year, but we need to build depth for 2019-2020

Offer was from Jones way back in 2016, and is down to Florida, NC State, South Carolina and Tennessee.

The guy they should be going after is Khavon Moore. Down to Oklahoma, Texas Tech, Auburn and Ohio State although seems like the Sooners lead

Guard =/= SF. PF =/= SF.

Frankly, the SF is often the most versatile defender on the floor. Playing a PF at that spot can cause match up problems with switching onto a guard. Playing a guard there can cause similar issues switching onto a big. A true SF usually has the length to hold his own against a bigger player as well as the lateral quickness to defend guards.

It's a very valuable position, because it is such a rare combination of skills. Usually it is manned by a big guard, or a smaller PF, but there are not a lot of true SF in college basketball.

A thick, athletic wing, who can shoot and handle the ball, but is about 6-6 or 6-7.

Sims is the perfect size, but doesn't have the talent for it.

I think we need a sharpshooting, fundamentally sound, hustling, white guy that shoots 95% from the free throw line and 40+% from 3-point line.

I feel like most elite teams have one of those

This is a good example. A lot of people assume because of Sims' size at 6'6 220ish he's a 3, but he's far from it. He's a traditional 4 (not even a stretch 4), and unfortunately has little athleticism so he gets swallowed up badly inside. He doesn't have a 3 point shot to scare anyone to guard him out there.

I think Keith Hornsby's brother was older, not younger, unfortunately.

Sims is almost more of a 5.
