His recruitment moving forward will be interesting. LSU is already recruiting several OOS players with a similar skill set, Tae Provens, Alontae Taylor, and Justin Watkins to name a few. They were originally recruiting Watkins as a DB.
The junior day this month will be huge.

Has all the tools you want in a new system where we have a truly spread system. The kid is highly underrated, but moving up the ladder faster anyone in the nation just about-I believe before they updated their last rankings he moved up over 50 spots. That is no typo. I remember seeing it on the 24/7 composite. He jumped higher than anyone I searched for after seeing how far he jumped.
I knew he would jump eventually once West Monroe released their videos.
The reason you are asking this is because unless you have seen him play in person, or the championship game on tv, you haven't seen his current highlights.
They released his highlights and tape here about a month ago or so and now sites are getting it and coaches. He will keep climbing and he will get an offer. Kid is legit. I have no affiliation with their school or him personally. I use to be a hater, but became a believer when he did what he did this past year and dominated. He improves every year and is big, fast, quick, and well-coached. He isn't slow, and he isn't soft AT ALL.

In addition to his physical talent, he also has great character and is a leader. He does not lack in confidence at all but has a humbleness about him too.

Saw him at Ouachita in the playoffs. Far and away the best talent on the field. He can help anybody.

What's the love with this kid?
Not sure. Right at 6' 200 pounds, 4.52 40, 4.0 GPA, will be a 2 sport 4 year starter at West Monroe, not sure that's happened before, and never gotten so much as a whipping much less in trouble with the law.
Not a lot to love...

My prediction is if he camps this june he will get offered. Just hope he can make it. Is he going to Junior day?

If it's on a Saturday, chances are he will have a baseball game. Let me check the dates.

That is what I've been hinting at.
JJ, what is your gut feeling as to how it will play out? LSU doesn't need to soft-play North Louisiana and it's top players at all anymore. History is proving that.
How has LSU been in terms of interest? If they really want him down there for evaluation purposes or for any other purposes-a la gleason and moore info, I'd assume he truly will go down on that Saturday.

My freshman son told me that he saw Orgeron talking to both Bolden and John Bailey Gullatt together in the WM weight room right after he was named interim or head coach - I can't remember which. Either way, Orgeron has talked to both of them. Fun fact - Gullatt broke Adam McConathy's single season tackle record this year, according to our paper.

Plenty of talent coming up in the next couple of years in Monroe and West Monroe. I know coach O was at Nevile, West Monroe, and Ouachita making the rounds.
I know they are looking at a few players from Neville and Ouachita also. Neville has 2 players that will be juniors who could be truly special in the big tackle and their running back. Ouachita has a linebacker, receiver, defensive tackle and 2 defensive backs that they are interested in seeing develop too.
Supposedly Ouachita has a very deep junior and sophomore class next year. Very young last year along with West Monroe.

Im still surprised LSU hasn't offered Bolden yet.
Last night West Monroe was beating John Curtis 13-5 in the top of the 7th. JC went on a rally and made it 13-10. Bolden came to the mound and shut the door. Very impressive athlete. Seems he can do it all and do it well.
You're right. They will all be big time players. But of the three you named none of them started this year including Sophomore Gleason. But there was a sophomore that did start on the DL.

WM's defensive front in 2 years will have 3 players that will all go big time in Boyer, Moore, and Gleason.

Dang, good catch.
I like Swanner, but I'm not sure he is SEC material as of today. He still has two years, but that ACL injury I'd have to believe will hamper months of training to get stronger and quicker.
Glason, Moore, and Boyer all have the tools from what I see. If Boyer can improve his quickness and shed some weight he will be impossible to block one on one as he is already strong as an ox.

Army just offered. #19 so far.

I don't think 6' / 235 is too small to play ILB, but speed would be the real question anyway. I'm just relaying what I was told by an eyewitness.
