Good predictions everywhere except I don’t think we get Young on the DL, and I can see us getting Porter jr. right now over Kimborough.

Yeah Kimbrough is scared of depth chart. He’s going to Florida.

Yeah, I’d go with Porter over Kimbrough, and Diabate (OLB) instead of Young.

If getting just 1 of the Amite boys was on the table right now, you flip a coin for which one. Would you take it? Just curious where our confidence level is with them.

“If some things happen at LSU to sort out the depth then they will be in there for me.”

“I’d be the only guy for Florida.”

“Going on another visit soon to Florida. Anything can happen. Want to get in a class soon before spots fill up.”

“Florida is the leader.”

So without reading with the p&g glasses on, Chester Kimbrough is probably going to Florida.

Sounds like he has no chest. A 3* who wants to be the jewel of a dB class? No thanks

Sopsher is more likely and IMO more valuable.

More valuable for sure. We need the depth because Lawrence, Fehoko, and potentially Alexander are gonna leave. If we dont get Lee, it's not a big problem because we have a ton of young guys at WR.

LINK

He did a tremendous job locking up WRs at The Opening regional and look forward to see him hold his own at the national event next week. There are a lot of current DB commitments and LSU was late to offer, but i don't think LSU is out of it yet...

“They said thanks for going through the process with them,” Kimbrough told SEC Country. “It was the one offer I had to work for. I went to camp with my mom and I wanted the offer to see if they really liked me or not. It’s a blessing, though, because LSU is one of the best schools for a defensive back to go to. They put a lot of people in the draft.
Five-star cornerback Derek Stingley Jr., a teammate of Kimbrough’s with the Louisiana Bootleggers, and 2020 quarterback verbal TJ Finley also messaged the star cornerback. Both began recruiting him to join them in Baton Rouge.

“Stingley asked if I liked LSU and if I thought they had a chance,” Kimbrough laughed. “I’d love to go with him and really ball out. It would be a blessing to play with Sting. People won’t throw to his side, but if they throw to mine, it would be the same result. My name isn’t as big at his, yet, but it would be a blessing.”

Also, look at the DBs on the same team as Stingley at The Opening for Team Overdrive LINK /

Currently there are 7 open spots and i'd like to see:
Cain
Lee
Palmer
Parker
Sophser
Starks
Harris

If there are additional spots, geaux for Chester K., Clark, Porter.

I think the number of DBs we’re bringing into this class might spook Kimbrough and push him to UF

I’m fine with Palmer being our only WR if it comes to that because we loaded up at WR last year. I remain skeptical about Lee obviously. If there is an extra spot I’d add to either DL or RB. Nothing wrong with 3 rbs , especially if one of them has those “ athlete “ traits that may translate elsewhere.

If we are able to sign Christian Harris out of U-High, he will fill the 3rd running back/athlete position you are speaking of. If we have an open scholarship left, even with Sopsher, I believe we need another player on the dline. The LA class of 2020 is loaded with dline talent but we still need depth from this years class. Last year we witnessed what a lack of dline depth can do.

Always take the big man. It's much easier to find WR's than great D-linemen.

Although I don’t interpret your post as meaning that getting Sopsher is a shoe-in to sign, seems like everything I’ve heard lately is that he’s a toss-up, at best. Has something changed, are there any new developments with him?
