Should Ju'juan Johnson get a look at quarterback?

No. He's not an SEC caliber QB.

Look up his stats from last year. After that amazing production both LSU and Colorado recruited him at DB.

on 9/3/23 at 8:26 am to thumperpaitHe is the epitome of the best athlete playing QB for you in HS. If he were going to a Sunbelt school, maybe. If LSU didn't already have QBs as good or better than Johnson at actually throwing the ball, probably. But I've seen Ju'Juan play a lot and will again this year. I also saw Ricky Collins play against LCA. Collins is a better passer than Howard by a bit based on the game I saw but Johnson had a better team around him and much better receivers as a whole.

He’s a great athlete who has to play DB or receiver. What did you see that leads you to believe the answer is WR? Does he have great hands?
If it’s running ability, that is necessary for both DB and WR.

Everyone remembers that Russell Shepherd was a HS QB but not may remember that Rueben Randle and Joseph Addai were as well.
