Two trains of thought here, and I believe both relate to Simmons.
1. We are going to get the top player in Texas.
2. He’s going to commit to UT, but like Perkins, he will eventually come back around on signing day.

Interesting tweet. I think you're right on your thought process. Especially if UT drops a few games this year and we make a legit Natty run. I could see him flippin in December.

Not the same. LSU was in a coaching change and recruited Perkins very little in the beginning it seemed.

Word is LSU upped the size of the bag. If this comes down to just money, it will be Texas. I still think he commits to LSU today, though.

There will be flips & flops all the way to signing on the dotted line in December or February. Hopefully we have an awesome season and really open the eyes of some recruits. Kelly knows what he's doing.
