The No. 1 overall defensive end in the class, Stewart has yet to commit to a school but that decision could be coming very soon. Two Crystal Ball picks have been made for Stewart, with both sending him to LSU. The Tigers could get a huge win, pulling the state of Florida’s top player.

Also, there’s a locked vip article, but I’m not an insider.

He’s a complete game changing type player. O and Carter need to lock this guy up by any means necessary.

We have to get this kid, like I've said, Stewart could end up being as great of a DE as what I believe Maason Smith will be for us at DT.

Stewart has superstar DE potential at the collegiate and NFL levels written all over him.

Good thing is that Baker was recruiting him to Miami. Having him on staff is a major bonus now

Not quite sure why you got downvoted for this. At this point any connection helps and I think with this new staff, O is really emphasizing relationship building and recruiting. Only a matter of time before we are dominating in the trenches!

I really think we should lock down the state as best we can and then focus on 5 big OOS prospects this cycle. Shemar Stewart, Walter Nolan, Devon Campbell, Harold Perkins, and Malik Agbo. Oh and Jake Johnson

This kid's explosiveness is truly off the charts. As compared to prior classes' top EDGE guys--Jordan Burch and Korey Foreman, for example--I would take Stewart by a pretty comfortable margin. And that's *not* just me saying things because he's the only one of those guys we have a chance to get--I've been saying this consistently even when it looked like we were the leaders for Foreman. Highly recommend watching some clips of this guy if you can find them--he is a legitimately special athlete.

True, Stewart is on another level, even from other 5 star Defensive Lineman. He should be not just a great player, but a spectacular one, and we need to get a commitment, and keep it from him. This is a kid we will need to continue recruiting very hard to keep, if he does commit.

2. WALTER NOLEN — DEFENSIVE TACKLE

The school: Undecided

This recruitment is still wide open right now but it looks like Nolen will be going to a big-name school. No Crystal Ball picks are in for the 6-foot-4, 300-pound lineman, but Alabama, Clemson, LSU, Michigan, Ohio State, Ole Miss and Tennessee are all considered to be “warm” in his feelings for schools.

I want this guy too. They could be a heck of combo on our DL
