No I did NOT call Adams just another body. Geez, can you not read. Here is what I said. "Bottom line: I will say the same thing about DT in football as McMahon's recruiting in basketball. You need to sign a real game changing stud, not just another body." That was a generic statement which I believe. As I've said multiple times if you read the paragraph in the post before that statement, I simply gave out info I had found. I had not formed an opinion on him.

Hmmm. Defensive tackle prospect predicted to LSU
In response to that prediction you say “You need to sign a real game changing stud, not just another body”
Message is pretty clear to everyone but you buddy.

Once again, you leave out the text before that didn't you? It was clear I was giving out information and at no time did I give an opinion on Adams...quote me where I did. And no, a generic statement about DTs isn't it. If you don't mind, stick to your opinions and don't try to post mine. BTW, since you are easily confused, I will repeat my Ross opinion...please quote correctly.
My opinion on Ross is that he is worth a scholarship but don't expect he will ever start a game for LSU. I think he will be a special teams player and a substitute LBer. When I give an opinion on Adams which I have not done, feel free to comment on it.

You can deny it all you want, but Adams was exactly who you were referring to in that quote.

Nope, I have been very clear on putting names with statements. That "Bottom line" did not have Adams name in it. And if you read the previous part of the post, it is clear the info on him is incomplete. He has a medium 3* rating (fact). He has good offers (fact). I can't tell squat about his film because the video was short, taken a far distance away, and at a bad angle (fact). Thus I gave no opinion on him. You can assume or infer anything you wish but the more you try to do that, it just makes you look desperate.

The services have even rated the top players in the 2026 class to some extent. You are using their methods from 15 years ago. I know how it works better than you do.

You obviously don’t. While the services certainly have a bunch of names and an idea of where they might fall, the only somewhat accuracy they have are on the elite prospects that anyone can evaluate. And even those will shuffle around quite a bit.
It’s the next group that are unknowns. While the services may have their names and a belief that they should be ranked somewhere, that exact spot is unknown.
So they stick them in a placeholder rank and wait for more/better tape and hopefully camp evals.

It’s very obvious you have a negative opinion on both Ross and Adams. There’s a reason everyone is calling your dumbass out.
I think it’s clear you’re calling both Ross and Adams trash,
but continue crawfishing, it’s your season

Last year this time sites had Kolby Young from Holy Cross ranked ahead of Billiot.
Look at how much different they ended up in the final rankings
Posters were calling young a must have at this time last year based on stars
One went up 200 spots and one fell 200 spots

And what is really laughable is that some posters think that most major schools don't already know about these kids after their junior seasons.
Knowing about them /=/ evaluating them
Like I told you in the last post, lsu has offered 15 different 2025 kids in the last month
That’s almost 4 per week

It's not even just that. They could have evaluated them before, but need to see how much they've grown/changed/accepted coaching, before they earn an offer.
So yeah, they've seen tape on all these guys, but things change so rapidly for HS age kids, from a physical development standpoint. Plus, the off field/personality stuff that gets eval'd before a real offer is extended.

Haha you are right. Idiots like you deserved to be called idiots. You think you bring clever posts to this site, but in reality all you do is talk shite about recruits that haven’t even made it to campus yet. Like your opinion is right and everyone else is wrong. And from other posters your clown arse didn’t even play football. Go back to your moms basement and shut the hell up.

Every year they do rankings. I opined that i think hes solid. Rankings agree from my perspective.

Well thankfully we hired literally the best dline coach in the nation and pulled in a 5 star DT last year.
It’s almost march. Didn’t realize signing day was tomorrow and the 25 class is done

Look at UGA just raking in top 5 dlineman. We’re so far away on that side of the ball.
Who had the best DL in the country last year?
Texas - go see where those guys were rated and who coached them?
Where is he coaching now?

Once again, have Doctor Who drop you in the current timeline. The services have even rated the top players in the 2026 class to some extent. You are using their methods from 15 years ago. They have already talked to the coaches about them...the coaches have gone to see a player on the same team the year before, they ask those coaches about younger players to watch. C'mon man, you can't be that naive. This is all public knowledge.
All of this may be true to an extent but neither the coaches nor the recruiting sites are as focused on future players as they are the current class. You Dan not say they evaluate them in the same way. Have they seen them? Probably. Have they fully studied them like they have the current class players? Not a fricking chance.
