That’s why I had to break it down per snap so people could get a little reality

This kid will make more per snap than people make in a month

I mean, he’s 19. It’s not like he’s an NFL all pro I mean it’s just gotten ridiculous.

Im sure there is some kind of clause in their contract for things such as an injury or another issue that could come up and they miss a large portion of their end of the agreement...which is playing football. Some kind of buyout for the contract if it isnt fulfilled. I know that athletes of his caliber, whom are pretty much guaranteed to be high draft picks in the not so distant future, have insurance policies as well to cover their asses.

Average salary for NFL OL is about 3 million per year. Is he asking twice that?

Yeah. I get Lane is driven but let this dude walk already. I think the offense can handle a hurried pass or two.

Most of these numbers are massively inflated by those reporting them. There may be some that can range up to a certain amount, but a lot of these deals are significantly lower than what the media reports.

The thing is the players need to think about their next steps too. Will they be developed? Will they be showcased?

I know a kid that went to tOSU for a big bag only to not end up playing much and likely cost himself a bit of draft status. He got paid, but his position coach left right after and he didn't fit the style of the new coach.

Lots of factors and hopefully players will see through just the raw numbers. Can't blame the kids if idiotic programs and boosters are willing to offer them that much though.

There is more than likely standard injury mitigation language in all these contracts. We will never know the terms because all that is NDA'd.

This may explain why Nuss was insistent on playing hurt or BK was insistent on playing him hurt. To match up with what the contract said.

It's sad, but will ultimately be the end of college sports.

If it’s 6.7 mil it better be all based on incentives and performance requirements.

The average salary of a starting LT in the NFL is $20M+.

Easy to say that now until you have 4 million in your pocket, but your 6 million dollar QB gets taken out from the blind side because of a subpar LT.

Per multiple sources, Jordan Seaton is confirmed to be transferring to LSU. I’m told his NIL package in Baton Rouge is expected to be around $6.7 million, making it the largest deal for an incoming offensive lineman this cycle. 9:53 PM · Jan 18, 2026

Yes, but early on, even starters make less.

• Kolton Miller – ~$18.0 M per year
• Orlando Brown Jr. – ~$16.0 M per year
• Jaylon Moore – ~$15.0 M per year
• Jonah Williams – ~$15.0 M per year
• Walker Little – ~$13.5 M per year
• Cam Robinson – ~$12.0 M per year
• Will Campbell – ~$10.9 M per year

No big deal when you wasted almost $100 million getting rid of the last 2 coaches and their incompetent assistants.
