I was thinking possibly FB as a possibility for him, but then again we have Dominique Allen and Brandon Worle committed.

i assumed there was an interview of the kid on TSD or scikebait. I didn't mean to break into the sanctity of this poor kid's personal life.

Really? A 206 lbs FB with sub 4.5 40 speed? That might be a first in the SEC.

ok maybe not
he could be a QB I think. He's got good arm strength.
ETA: He's a physical player.

Not yet.
He is trash, obviously.

Honestly, I've never heard of the guy (thats not saying much, though). I think with Perry on his team, and Milliner 10 minutes down the road, he must've gotten overshadowed. This might be a steal. If he is truly the best athlete on Prattville, I wouldnt be worried at all--I dont think I would put at FB though Papa. I am really surprised the Auburn coaches haven't offered. Get Max to call his buddy CPA and see if he has any info on the kid.

even CPA knows that Egg used to cross you over on the REC courts

This guy looks like an excellent prospect to me. Probably only 3 stars because he really wanted to go to LSU and not Alabama. If Saban had gotten his commitment, he would immediately be elevated to 5 stars.
Posted on 6/9/09 at 11:06 am to The Egg
northwestern says saban is dominating all of the sec in recruiting so this kid prolly wasn't worthy

the only thing Egg did on the REC courts was sweep'em. every once in a while i would see him down at the end court shooting free throws with a bunch of giggling freshman asian chicks

Gibson is an athletic quarterback in the spread formation. He has very good physical size and is a quick and talented football player. Even though technical skills could be honed, he is impressive with his decision making at the quarterback position. Releases the football at just the right moment and anticipates when his receivers will break the route. Places the football in the right spot and can drop the football over the defenders arms. Shows very good arm strength and has little problem with the deep ball. Very accurate and puts great touch on the seam and post patterns. Knows when to put the football away and run but doesn't tuck it and go too soon. Athletic enough to elude the rush and step up in the pocket to throw or run the ball in order to keep the play alive. A quick and slippery runner once the decision is made to head upfield; athletic enough to make defenders miss in the openfield. Throws the football well on sprint out action and displays the ability to throw the ball deep downfield when off balance. Gibson has the size and ability to play a couple of positions at the next level but he could fit into a spread system at the quarterback spot.

Maybe already discussed but he seems also like a good candidate to play LB for Chavis.
