One of the primary reasons Miles got shitcanned, aside from his dumbass offense, was allowing Saban to routinely raid Louisiana of its top talent.
One of O's big promises was that he was going to build a fence around Louisiana and keep those kids home. This is a pretty monumental fail in that promise.

I don’t really follow recruiting closely but it seems that O has focused on going “national” rather than a Louisiana-centric strategy. That said, some kids are always going to leave their home state.

This is recruiting so it's not over until the papers are signed. I have no doubt that LSU is working behind the scenes and is going to do everything in their power to land Sage. These kids change their minds like we change clothes - almost every day! It's one thing to verbal, but it's another thing to actually sign on the dotted line!
