Alabama's jet landed behind my flight into Monroe last night.

Not up to date on recruiting so just curious who would be getting a in home visit.

Any ideas?

How is anyone gonna stop it? He's allowed to recruit in LA. What if Texas hs coaches stopped allowing LSU in? We'd be in an uproar screaming foul. The best way to keep him out of LA is to beat them more than we have in since Nov 2011. Until then we really don't have much say to be honest

You can't keep him out, and shouldn't. But way too many people in certain parts of the state, HS coaches and administrators included, consider him some kind of rockstar. That needs to stop yesterday.

And I would really like to understand the decisionmaking process that led Ruston High School to decide that it was a good idea to hire an ex Bama player as an assistant coach.

Holy shite, now you guys want to ban players from SEC foes from coaching in High Schools in LA? That is ludicrous. If the guy is qualified for the job, he should be able to have the job. It's up to the LSU staff, administration, and boosters to make LSU the most attractive destination for top flight prospects - not HS assistant coaches.

Who cares what Saban does, the dude isnt a good enough coach to make it in the NFL, so he came back to college football were his mediocre football knowledge makes him well above the knowledge of the average college football coach.

In otherwords standing out in the world of college football doesn't make one a great coach, its why 95% of the coaches that try to transition to the NFL never amount to jack squat.

In fact Ill wager that somebody like a Dave Aranda, should he ever choose to move on to the NFL, will find more success than little napoleon ever did.

Saban is not in Monroe, but his coaches might be. Saban was giving speeches and visiting 3 HS around Jacksonville today (visited Bolles, Providence, and Sandalwood).

Bolles has his QB recruit and Sandalwood has some 6'2" CB he wants (Ameer Speed)
