landry has been arguably the most talked about recruit on this board for 2 years going. there was never a doubt that he would be a national recruit, maybe even a 5*.

I'd like to know as well. Almost everyone on here feels hes a top 50 national recruit lock.
Saban probably is just meeting with his coach.
"So hey, we have any shot at Landry? You sure you want your kid playing for Miles when I can be a dickhead and still get to NCs? Isn't that what your kid wants? Going to the NFL with rings on his fingers? Or does your kid want to sit on the sidelines his Freshman year and be clock management assistant for Miles?"

Saban is just putting his time in. He knows the atmosphere will be right to pluck them at the end of next year. He's good.
