I saw the announcement today that ACK is no longer volunteer coach. Seems more and more likely that they have their new coaches.
Not at all surprised about the Greaves rumors. I think I posted about that before.

Very excited about the new coaching situation. Of course I'm sad to see Bob Moore go, he was fantastic. But if he has to go, seems like this is a great time to get in some new ideas and hopefully input onto the issues we fans have been seeing for years like composition.

How likely is it that the Griffiths will be hired?
Sounds like it’s happening!

With the ACKT announcement, i think it’s only time. Big gets... I mentioned them on this thread back when Gnat was hired. This will be a strong staff

I heard they were extremely close to announcing a hire earlier this week, and with the buzz on them and the ACK announcement official, it’s got to be imminent.
Could be a nice Friday treat going into the weekend (I hope at least lol)

This is amazing news. They would be tremendously helpful in upping our polish and cleanliness.

It sounds like a very positive hire(s)! I hate getting too hopeful too soon.....I’ve followed too many football coaching searches, and they don’t always go so well

Im gonna wait for it to be official before celebrating, but if it does happen that would be a great job by Jay.
Bob Moore is going to be missed no doubt but I would also be excited about what the Griffeth's bring to the table. Younger coaches that have experience, bring different ideas and their own style to the table. From a recruiting perspective, they offer a lot as well.

Could either of them help Gnat with the beam situation? Construction or mental aspect?

As a former collegiate gymnast national champion herself under Jay and an Olympian, I’m sure Courtney would help in that department if they were hired. She was rock solid on that event as an athlete and I’m sure she could give our girls great insight on what it takes to win a team title especially with that event being our nemesis for a couple years now

I saw aleah did her "farewell to elite" post. I really hope this setback doesn't get into her head for NCAA. She will be so great in the NCAA setting!

Did anyone see the collegegym recruit rankings?
Bryce, Annie and Lilly were all rated 4 stars and Lilly had the lowest ranking/rating among our commits
JaFree Scott, Ariel Posen and Sophia Butler are all 5 stars

Yep, I saw that. It doesn't make sense that JS is rated a five star recruit when she has not competed in quite a while. Lilly is a five star IMO. I am not a fan of this particular system of ranking recruits. It often appears to be somewhat biased for some colleges.

So Aleah couldn't petition to trials since she did AA at nationals. You could only do so if you didn't. Supposedly Fong went to Tom and brought up that she finished 5th at Classics and just had one bad day. They even brought up her scoring potential was much higher than a lot of the current girls who are heading to trials. Tom still told them no.
To make matters worse, USAG sent this to Aleah and Morgan.
