She committed to Utah, that’s hilarious after all the Florida BS. Always thought it was going to be tough for any program to poach Neff out of her home state.

I assumed so based on some of her comments. Seems she wants to give it a shot.

Z. Miller is signing today right now. McClain has not yet. I’m assuming it’s because she is deferring (or would she still sign today anyways? I’m unsure about the rules and how it all works). If that is the case and Zoe is deferring then wouldn’t Konnor also be signing today?

You can still sign but defer I thought.... Unless the rules changed there have been a few kids who signed over the years but deferred for the olympics.
Zoe did an interview where she said her goal was to get to olympic trials. I get it if she does, these kids truly only get one opportunity in life to try to make it.

Yeah I’m confused…we had Amari and Kylie sign and get announced by LSU, we had Zoe sign at her gym but not get announced by LSU, and we had Konnor not sign and not get announced.
Florida had Skye sign and i think she’ll defer but they didn’t say in the announcement.

Saw where suni is supposed to be announcing on Tuesday that this is her last year competing in college. Can’t say I would be surprised, she’s never seemed super happy at college like most elites are. Hope she still finishes college somewhere. Also think she should have announced before the signing day next year. Going to be huge loss for auburn losing Derrian and suni in one year.

I don’t think Suni will be extremely competitive in elite come 2 years. I think she would be better off staying in college and training for both. I hate to see her waste her last couple of years in college just to not be selected to the Olympic team.

She has a couple years to get ready. Contrary to other elites trying to make a comeback late in the past, she at least has still been training and still in gymnastics shape. Supposedly she has kept training some of her elite skills and routines while at Auburn.
Not sure what the end product will be but I’m not surprised if she does go for it. Shilese though is getting better each year so it will be interesting

I am glad Suni will be out of the SEC at least - it will stop that Suni score bump everyone else on the team was getting last year.

? It was always the plan from the very beginning... two years NCAA and then 2024 Olympics.
Besides, she is already a Olympic gold medalist and has nothing to prove to the world.
