If these kids are swayed by what they read on a message board then they will struggle with the pressure of big time college athletics. What will they do when they fumble the game winning TD away and the entire fan base screams?

I agree, some people should tone down their posts but this is a "message board" for posting messages so that stuff will happen. If these kids can't distinguish the difference then don't tell me they are capable of making these famous "business" decisions about where to attend college.

Most of these kids have been told they are the best of the best, etc. for so long that maybe they are detached from the real world. In the real world you will get mistreated and bad mouthed but you'll also get praise and support. Deal with both.

Yes, the LSU fan base is passionate and some times wacky but at least we haven't been poisoning trees and shooting our own fans over a loss. One thing we do is love our Tigers!

When these recruits go to another school that LSU has to play - Tiger bait!

I agree. I've lurked here for years and the one thing that drives me crazy is LSU fans' "Saban obsession". The rest of the SEC laughs at it--we're infamous for it. And it plays right into his hand. Recruits and everyone know that we think Saban is a god. So why not go play for him. Heck we add to his image all the time. Bear Bryant used to recruit all the best players in the southeast even if he really didn't need them. Why--so the other SEC school couldn't sign them. Granted that was the day of no scholarship limits--but look at Saban's results-always over limits, stacks them on the bench. He gets what he wants, he takes what others want, and shines his image. And we help him. LSU has a proud tradition we ought to help maintain that-quit calling Les dumb and give him the respect he deserves (and that his players give to him) and quit bitching about current players with such venom and have some pride for our football program.
