Nussmeier just has it.

Reminds me of joe burrow in that way.

Love how he moves on the run and still delivers an accurate ball.

Haven't seen enough of walker howard to have an opinion.

Max johnson will have something to say this year if brennan stumbles.

Bottom line is you will never be more than 2 deep at QB and now we are already 3-4 deep,

"we are 3-4 deep" when combined with the statement "you will never be more than 2 deep" defies the laws of logic

Recruiting Burrow to LSU and his achievements at LSU certainly must have positive effects on QB recruiting. Most likely OBJ's and Landry's success help WR recruiting. I guess success at any position helps in recruiting that position. It certainly doesn't hurt. Winning and success no doubt help in recruiting. Orgeron was and is pretty much known to be a good recruiter regardless.

Since 2020 didn't count against eligibility, Brennan could still be here in 22.

I thought that was the way it worked also. Maybe people are just seeing it as a given that Brennan will be so successful in 2021 that he leaves after that season? Or could be that they see Max Johnson or Nussmier beating him out so that he transfers after the 2021 season.

Brennan actually has 2 yrs remaining. He was redshirted his soph year and gets last year's free year, if he wants it.

thats what I am saying. He is probably the QB in 2022 unless he is so successful in 2021 that he decides to forgo the 2022 season and turn pro after 2021 or gets beat out and tranfers out for the 2022 season.

edit: or are you saying that he would be eligible through the 2023 season due to already redshirting and having 2020 season not count? So could be QB in 2021,22 and 23?

Man, if we only had a former Ole Miss HC that Archie helped get hired there and still maintains a close relationship with, while witnessing a QB friendly offense that produced a Heisman winner and NC trophy.

Archie Who? is not sending his grandson to play for LSU. The hatred of LSU runs very deep in the Manning family.

Would you let your son play for Ole Miss if their head coach was Joe Burrow....I hope the answer is "Hell Neaux!"

Got to give it to O. We really seem to have the QB situation under control. Imagine this QB room with ANY of the Miles teams between 2008-2017.

Conglomeration of people and results. It began with O. He brought in Burrow. Brady followed. Having one of the best wr corps in LSU history that O recruited, also played a vital role. If you're looking to credit just one, it has to be O. However, O is smart enough to know it was the contributions of many that helped transform the qb room.
