It’s called rationalization

They acted like cowards and got caught. When put on the spot they got pissed and talked shite

I truly have no clue what happened but can you elaborate when you say they acted like cowards.

He’ll be forgotten at Maryland and drafted in the mid rounds. Next nationally televised game he’s in will be a 60 point drubbing from Ohio State.

Jarrett: told everyone his school didn’t allow him to sign early. Meanwhile, his teammates were announcing they’d be signing early. That’s one.

The other part is he told the coaches he was gonna sign in February initially then when pressed changed his mind to go ahead and sign early. Then he went back to his lie about not being allowed to sign early so he had to wait til February. O said screw that. Sign today or you don’t have an offer. He got mad and signed with Maryland

Burton: lied to the coaches about taking trips to Georgia to “see family”

Morning of signing day reaffirmed commitment and intent to sign then proceeds to send LOI to Georgia

Damn that's crazy about Burton. Hadn't heard that before. I had heard about the Jarrett stuff you mentioned but surprised Burton was that shifty.

So what you’re saying is that if either one of them or both of them blow ACL’s, they have nothing to blame but their own karma?

What did Burton have to say about LSU since signing with UGA?

He attended 4 high schools in 4 years. Him being flaky should have been expected. Coaching staff should have targeted someone else.

I think he's the one claiming Kirby told him UGA is stealing Joe Brady away after the bowls are over. At a minimum, sounds like Kirby has taken a page from Saban and talked a couple of kids into stringing LSU along all while being a secret commit to them.

Yet another thing that is NOT cowardice.

A fourth example of something other than cowardice.

Cowardice and heroism must be more complicated than they seem. We are always saying some hostage was a hero, for example. I don't understand how being taken hostage is an act of heroism. I also don't understand how Evans' constant lying and gamesmanship is cowardice.

Is it murder? Is it embezzlement? Why is it cowardice?

You might need a new attitude towards 18 year old football prospects
