Portal predictions Ole MS / Auburn

So playing a little catch up on portal news.
Looking at the On3 predictions, man ole miss and auburn have ALOT of predictions or signees already. They are both clearly going ‘ham’…
And yea yea I know Kiffin will screw it up but he’s at least giving them the best chance going get who they want (assuming they close).
LSU clearly needs guys at almost all positions, and has money. What’s the reason for Aubie and Rebs to have so much early success compared LSU?
Curious of some of your takes…
Hopefully tigers gain some momentum soon with Nus returning.

We are screwed. There’s no other explanation. We probably won’t get anyone out of the portal. I think ole miss and Auburn will be battling it out for sec championships for years to come while we fade away.

Ole Miss is pretty bad at HS recruiting, so Kiffin goes all in on the portal.
Freezer has said often that he's not happy with the current roster, so it makes sense for them to hit the portal hard.
Auburn has a lot of a lure for some reason, and it probably has a lot to do with some of the top portal players being from or near GA, which has strong ties to Auburn, and UGA being unable to really make portal moves since they're in the CFB.

You are making the statement that they both have alot. List their predicted guys and we can have a discussion. Are we going after the same guys? We have 1 commit and 2 100% leaning us.
Nobody has signees, just commitments right now but on3 shows Ole Miss with 3 commits and Auburn 0. Of the 3 Ole Miss commits, 1 is Womack and 1 we might have had interest in but there was no smoke there that I heard besides this board wanting him.
Let's be patient and see how it plays out. The portal guys have been thru the recruiting process already and if they didn't have a team in mind when they entered they'll take their time to decide. Making assumptions this early isn't wise.

Well BK was asked specifically about whether or not he could speak on the tight end from Oklahoma. BK looked to the side, waited and got the OK to talk about it as it has been signed, sealed and delivered.

Side note— this wasn’t a bash at LSU. When we are supposed to be so aggressive this year (which I’m sure we will be) I’m just curious as to why those two teams are off to a hot start in comparison..

Just checked and many are made by On3's AI, which only takes visits into account basically. They don't really lead for that many guys.

This is a pretty big part of it in my opinion. Their class was ranked 16 or 17(no 5 starts), so it’s not like they’re dropping a ton of money on HS guys. When that’s the case, you have no choice but to go all out with portal players.
